So, let's get this straight. A Schumacher 12 years past his peak at a ludicrously old age (for a driver) of 43 was about as far from Rosberg as Hamilton is at
Now, I've never liked Schumacher, the guy was an asshat, but personal preferences aside we all have to give credit where it's due: This shows how unbelivably talented he was at his peak

"I love him, I think he's great. He's transformed the sport in so many ways. Every person in cycling has benefitted from Lance Armstrong, perhaps not financially but in some sense" - Bradley Wiggins on Lance Armstrong
But you still can't quantify the difference between his (MSC) peak self and his 2010-2012 self.
And Rosberg doesn't always have that much edge on Hamilton, he's probably slightly slower on a regular basis.

Kimi did drift across Perez though and wasn't just turning in to the corner. Perez shouldn't have been there though as he was clearly not going to make it far enough alongside to make the pass but Kimi definately cut his nose off and must have seen him as he moved over to defend but didn't leave enough room.
So in the end what should have been Perez crashing into Raikonen was more 50/50
Of course Kimi did drift across but that is allowed in F1. It was a constant and steady move to the left to block the rider behind. A professional F1 driver has to expect such driving. Only an idiot would overtake if the rider in front is "closing the door"...
But what do I care, real race driving is not part of the F1 anyway. Just check this:
Since so many people who like to complain cry about the drivers going slowly to preserve tires, the guys at the BBC did the number crunching to see the how much slower cars are going in the race than in qualifying, when compared to with the old 2010 tires
Guess what....same difference. They're not going any slower with these tires than they did with the old ones https://www.bbc.co...1/22654575
It's just that there's always someone in F1 with an agenda, so someone will always complain about this or that to try to get it changed because they're not winning with current rules.

@isso
But we can all agree its not as exciting as in 2008...
We need 2010 Pirelli Tyres, refulling, DRS, Kers and greater points gaps at the top end...
Or as i now do, watch pretty much any other racing series whenever possible
