Hey, guess how this discussion started

That list is missing a key name: Fabio Bartolucci. Busted in the infamous 2001 San Remo doping raids. Recently hired by Team Sky to replace Dr. Leinders.
And just as with Leinders, he's not listed on the team site. All the other team doctors are. Smooth.

Appearantly, WADA will recieve samples of all the blood bags in the Operation Puerto, from the Spanish authorities after the trial.
This is coming from a Spanish national representative according to Dutch news aggregate site nu.nl
I'm curious, maybe that will uncover some more names inside and outside cycling.
I thought the Spanish had gotten rid of most of the material circa 2009 ? |

The directors of the Settimana Coppi Bartali have decided that they'd like to copy the Tour de France directors of the 70s and 80s: Have a very gimmicky TTT
In this case it's actually not as gimmicky as some we've seen in the past. Each team of 8 will be divided into two "teams" of 4 riders, and the times of both teams added up to make the final time of all of them.

In other news, Dutch media NRC say that Gilbert used cortisone while at Silence-Lotto. He was "allowed" to use it thanks to a TUE - everything orchestrated by team doctor Jan Mathieu. |

Rolf Sørensen admits to doping during his career, he says; "My name is Rolf Sørensen and yes I have used doping during the 90's. I did what I had to do to in order to compete against riders at my own level." |

I'd buy that, it was possible in the 80s when he started.
But I don't buy it from Sorensen. Not from a guy who improved massively the second Ariostea started using EPO, and above all not a guy with his massive ego.
