Yeah, i know it is naive, but the way it is now, it is almost impossible to do without.

On the same levels we are seeing f.e. last year, to be doing things like Froome during three weeks, with barely any rest or long sleep, i rather doubt it, for me it is inhuman, ot not in human possibilities, even more when i see their bodies...but you are welcomed to think otherwise.
Of course you can do without on lower level of performance.

I agree you can do without, but not in this style and speed up the mountains like we are seeing it in these times. It got better from 90s and early 00s, but i often still cant believe what i see for a straight three week body torture.

Of course you'd be faster on dope, but doping would still exist with shorter stages. Actually, stages are already (way) shorter than they were and doping is still there. The only effective way of fighting doping is with better controls and the help of the police, not shortening the stages. People dope to be faster, not to go farther.

Yeah, that makes sense, only that the races would be longer time-wise, when being without dirty fast men.

A speed limit for the peloton
You shan't go over 45km/h, in the sprint you can go at 65km/h That'd be extremely funny |

Make them respect the road's speed limit. We'd have some fun with slowmo classics.

If they are clean, why going to ride for Katusha at first place?
Becasue Katusha offered them a good contract.
How hard can it be?

So, more UCI vs Race Organizers. I need to get some popcorn...

Yeah just wait for the UCI to collapse as RCS and ASO just invite whoever they want.
Vaughters has argued that what we need are long-term licenses for the World Tour. He is totally right, this system is just completely uncertain and that drives sponsors away.

ASO confirms only 22 Teams for Tour de France (19 Pro Tour Teams and 3 Wild Cards) and 23 Teams for ParÃs-Niza and Critérium Dauphiné.
That means only 1 non french Team will be invited to the Tour, because Europcar and Cofidis are going to be invited for sure. I dont think Europcar, Cofidis and Sojasun gonna get all the Wild Cards.

There's a reasonable chance they will though. It's IAM vs Sojasun for the last wildcard, and while IAM has a stronger roster, Sojasun is, well, French.
