And Guess which discipline is back! It made of mud, grass, sand, ice, snow and steps - yes, it's cyclocross. And Belgians are better than before - Vantornout, Vanthourenhout and Albert showed awesome performance on first races of the season. However, Stybar is the one who didn't have an excellent start. But men to beat - Nys and Boom haven't started racing yet.
True season in czech republic begins on 21/09 in Olomouc - There will be top names from world 'veldrijden' - like Pauwels, S. Vanthourenhout, Dlask, Verstraeten, Urban, L.Kloucek, Birkenfeld, Bína, Zlámalík, Petruš, Metlicka, Sickmüller, Ausbuher, F. Kloucek, Kyzivát and finally the Haiti national team.

Unfortunately I'm going to France.

PS: I'm looking forward to Ruben's posts, I hope you know what I'm talkin' about. Wink

You know Boom is going to rule another season, and then he will go to the road and say goodbye to cyclocross for good Wink

Valor
Stybar said in some interview with some belgian papers he'll maybe try road instead of cross when he'll be 25. I know he had some offers from Discovery.

Id just like to comment on the quality of the British Cyclo Cross riders.

https://cyclingnews.com/cross.php?id=c...ttrophy082

That's the results of #2 in the national Trophy. The only two Foreigners beat the entire field! Wow we're good!

Don't worry, Matt - that happens in any time an Open International race is ridden in Sp... sorry, the Basque Country. Basically no races are held outside the Basque borders - Nys, Heule and some of the Sunweb riders often come to Ispaster or Asteasu to ride outside the Igorre's World Cup. At least Zaballa won the Vlaamse CrossCup's seasonopener this year.

I'm definately cheering for Boom's last effort to piss them all off the ranks, no matter it's Wereldbeker, SP or GvA.

No he won't

And it's obvious Stybar and Boom are still tired from the road season, they have to warm up first Wink

Valor
Stybar tired from road season? 4 criteriums and one stage race is a road season? If you say so...

Valor
Šimůnek won C2 race in Lebbeke ahead of Nys, Wellens, Page and Dlask. And what about Ruben? No Dutch (not even Ruben) in these race. What a shame Smile .
But Boom did his fisrt UCI points two days ago in Ardooie, where he finished 6th (of course Stybar was ahead of him).

Lol, why should it be a shame they didn't finish well in that race Pfft who cares about Lebbeke.

And I don't think Boom will do well before mid-november, like I said before. So I don't really care, he will become world champion again in Hoogerheide and then all your taunting all season long will be for nothing, again. Just like last year when he owned Stybar in Treviso Grin

ruben
Typical, Boom was in the group Stybar today, and got a flat tire at the worst time possible. Now Valor will be arrogant again Shock

Dankan
By a coin, Nys over Albert today in Kalmthout.
