He will be an integral part of the teams first season

Steele was invited to join the team by his long time friend Nathan Haas and had no hesitations in saying yes once he had come and seen the team set up for his self.
He possesses a very good turn of speed and could become a very valuable part of the team in years to come

With the new season not too far away the team has been doing a lot of fitness training both out on the road and in the gym, to make sure that they are in peak condition for the first race

We are pleased to announce the following three rider who will all become valuable members of the TEAM CYMRU WALES squad

Chris has been a professional for over thirteen years and will be another rider who will be able to call on experience to help the younger members of the squad. His best attribute will be against the clock as Chris is at his happiest when he is time trialling

Luis is a rider from Cuba who is approaching the twilight years of his professional career but is hoping to be able to do a good job for us in the coming campaign

Dennis is a South African who is at his best when the pace gets fast and furious, he loves to sprint and can possess a wicked turn of pace when called upon

As the Transfer season gets closer to finishing the riders become less and less, but here at TEAM CYMRU WALES we are proud to announce yet another three riders who will be wearing our colours on the road next season

Zak has been a popular rider on the British cycling scene for the last three years and has always been a high finisher in many races.
So we are hoping he brings that talent to our team in the coming season

Nicholas likes the fast and furious sprint finishes and is not scared of dishing out his own sort of punishment on his fellow racers, like elbows, head buts and the odd punch here and there.
He his also a very good team mate and will do in anything and everything in his power to make sure his teams win

Joost is a Dutch rider who regularly achieves top ten finishes but very rarely finds himself on the top step of podiums, but he hopes with a change to our team his fortunes may begin to change

As the transfer season finally came to a close earlier this evening there was a lot of management negotiations going on right until the final minute and we can now announce our final two signings

Steven was without a ride for the new campaign after numerous offers were not followed up by the respective teams involved.
So TEAM CYMRU WALES stepped in and signed him up

When Stevens agent contacted us to say his rider wanted to leave Nintendo we had no hesitation in making him a surprise addition to our team.
We hope he will become a valued rider here with us in Wales

It has been announced this evening that TEAM CYMRU WALES have had their two Wild Card invitations accepted and so that means they will be taking part in both the Vuelta a Espana and the Tour de France - Really GREAT news for the Welsh team

Having been told that the team will ride in two Grand Tours this season, Manager Gary Sutton had no hesitation in getting his charges kitted up and out on the road for a really hard strength sapping training ride

He made sure that everyone hurt at some point or other

And told them that this was going to be the norm when it comes to the training regime

Our mascot Zingy was so happy that we got accepted into two Grand Tours that he went for a dip in his local bird bath
