After talks with Trentin who reported on the good atmosphere in Project 1T4I Team UPC has looked at riders who might leave that team at the season's end. It can be no surprise that UPC has to beef up their mountain squad (which is non-existent at the moment) and Frohlinger might be a good fit.
Trentin and Frohlinger even rode the Giro d'Italia together. As soon as the transfer season starts the rider, team and rider's management will be contacted.

We are delighted to hear that Trentin enjoyed his time with the team.
Hopefully he won't be the last UPC talent that gets his first taste of the PT world with our team

Have you trained Aberasturi as a Track-sprinter btw? I can see that would make him significantly more interesting to me

Aberasturi might be integrated in a possible Dumoulin/DvB deal if there is interest, though it depends on his wage after renewals.
Who is DvB?

Yes. That was the obvious choice

Indeed it was, but I reckon some will have messed those trainings up
Can't wait for Coquard to be all grown up with his 79 Prologue, 81SPR, 83ACC and 84REC. He should be in line for some leaders jersey early on in the GC races

Koenigsegg disbands, Robin van der Hugenhaben becomes no. 1 priority for 1t4i
Shocking news have struck the World of Cycling right in the middle of the National Championships races - mattiasgt, winner of both Continental Tour and Pro Tour (in consecutive years!), has decided to withdraw from his position as manager of Koenigsegg for reasons still unknown. As a result the team will disband and the free agent market will be flooded with top class riders. One of those riders is of particular interest for Project 1t4i - Robin van der Hugenhaben.
When contacted to discuss this matter, the manager had this to say: "Yes, it's true we are interested in Robin. We were the first team to hire him as a professional cyclist, but due to certain constraints we had to let him go a couple of years later, in order to let he become the rider he was supposed to be. And as you saw last year, he finally had his big breakthrough. I think now it's the perfect time for him to come home".
"It's a shame that Mattias is no longer a team manager. There was a strong connection between our teams as we dominated together the CT in 2010 and if it wasn't for my rookie mistakes at the time, I still think we could have won that. Not to mention that Mattias and I shared the Best Manager award that year", the manager added.

Rumours say that PCT squad Metinvest-Emirates is ready to pursue best slovakian stage racer Peter Velits in the upcoming transfer period as their main target to replacer aging Popovych. There is a speculation that riders could move both ways, with Metinvest openly shopping their south african star sprinter, which is an area where the dutch team is lacking depth on the first look.
Some of the cycling fans could remember that manager Alexkr00 was after his compatriot Grosu in the transfer season last year, who is now riding in Metinvest colours. However Metinvest managment made recently clear that this could hardly be an option,as they plan to build on young Romanian in the future.

Project 1t4i believe that Metinvest would be a great new home for Velits if he and the team will indeed part ways.
Hofmann wouldn't be a good fit with our team though as we are sure he has too much of a great opinion about himself after last year's performances.

According to a Taiwanese Cycling Magazine, Mohammed Saufi Mat Senan is one of the options when Compal now is looking to embrace more of the south east asian market. |

Project 1t4i is ready to let him go as long as the offer is good for both the rider and the team.
