Sarcasm? I thought TTTs on PCM were easy. Infact, I find the longer they are the easier!

Yeah, it's a bit strange. TTT's on PCM:
<20km Impossible
20-35km Medium
>35km Easy

This is a real climbers tour. I don't see Wiggins winning this one at all.

Nope...
I even think I read that Wiggo isn't going to be the TdF leader, Froome is.
Not sure of that though.
Yeah, not enough TT km's IMO.

Not sure of that though.

It's more or less decided.

Wiggins says himself that he's targeting the Giro. Wink

Wasn't that decided even before the profiles were known? I think it Froome was spoken as the next Tour leader as soon as the 2012 edition finished. But that was maybe only the fan view.
I'll be back

Wiggins said he will definitely: try to win the giro and be at the tour.
When the reporter at the tour presentation asked him, if he will help froome to win the tour, he answered: "If everything goes as planned I will help Froome. He's one of the best climbers in the world."
He also added that he thinks that in today's cycling nobody can win the giro and tour in the same year.

I think he's definitely the favourite at next years giro (a lot of timetrialing). And then he will go to the tour. If Froome is in the form he had this year, Wiggins will help him. If Froome is not in good shape, Wiggins will probably try the giro-tour-double Wink

I don't think that he will be able to do this but I'm sure he has that in the back of his mind. When you look at Wiggins' total domination this year (winning nearly every stage race he was racing, keeping a good form for an incredible amount of time) the giro-tour double is kind of the next logical goal (Contador's Tour comeback will make this impossible though Wink )

Wiggins will definitely die when Contador starts his streak of attacks!

This isn't a problem for Sky. The leader will be Froome while Wiggings will lead the team at Giro

I know, but I was just saying so. Because some people say Wiggins should be leader instead of Froome. Froome has a better chance of surviving Contador than a Wiggins.

I think Bradley gave that vibe from pretty soon after. Certainly by the Olympics when talking about it he was giving me the impression he wanted to ride for Froome next time round.

Hey guys,
Just after some knowledge on attending the TdF next year. I really want to attend the Alpe d'Huez stage and was thinking of booking accommodation in Grenoble as all of the accommodation on the mountain is booked out. I know there is a bus route from Grenoble to Alpe d'Huez but having never been to the tour I'm not sure when they shut the roads, or even if the bus runs up there in summer. Do you think I will have trouble getting from Grenoble to the Alpe on race day?

I'm not sure how things are affected by TDF, but when I went there in 2006 I took the bus from Grenoble to Bourg-d'Oisans. From that bus stop, but there were probably two or three just in Bourg-d'Oisans, there were 1 or 2 km left to walk to the bottom of Alpe d'Huez.

That may be a better option for him.

This sounds like what I was looking for. I don't mind walking up to get a spot, was really concerned about getting there foremost.
