Maybe i expressed myself wrong. Flecha already signed for next year...for Movistar
Even if there isn't almost no money left, the team will soon announce more reinforcements for 2013. |

Stage 8 Le Tour de France
So the first mountains day arrives, and as always, it's not a day to win the Tour, but it can be a day to lose it.
So Kiryienka is the first on the 2nd category climb with 85km to go, ahead of the break of the day, and they have 8'27 on the peloton. With him are Hivert, Terpstra and Kern. Two minutes behind them is Ladagnous.
With 7.5km to go Kiryienka tries to leave his break mates behind. Back there a lot of attacks from all the favorites. The break has 1'10, is it enough?
And Kiryienka is caught inside the last km by Evans. Rodriguez is right behind, as well as a lot of other riders. Valverde is not far, nor Rui Costa.
And Evans takes the win, Kiryienka was really really close...

Movistar announces one renewal and 3 other signings.
José Herrada signed for another year.
Guillaume Van Keiersbulck has joined from Omega Pharma Quick Step, with only 21 years, this is a young promise, who can help on cobbles, on trains or even sprinting.
Also from Omega Pharma Quick Step, the young polish time trialist Michal Kwiatkowski, with 22 years is another good acquisition for the team roster. He has already raced in Spain for Caja Rural, so his integration should be easy.
The last signing revealed was the experienced 30 year old Belgian Sebastian Rosseler, who can help the integration of the other 2 young riders and can provide some support to Flecha, and give some more Time Trial strenght to the team.
With the team having already a good number of climbers, the team directors decided to get different kind of riders. Flecha will make the team have something to say on RVV, Paris-Roubaix and other big races where this year the team was just present.

On Stage 9 of the Tour, with 4 2nd category, one 3rd and one 4th category climb the team decided to put Kiryienka again on the break.
And Kiryienka beats Di Gregorio on the penultimate 2nd category climb. It has been a great battle between them all day. Gautier, Levarlet and De Clercq formed the break of the day and now with 2 minutes on the peloton.
And on the last climb Kiriyenka had the company of yellow jersey and Voeckler. He managed the 2nd place on that 2nd category climb, and that guarantees him another day as KOM.
And we enter the last km, with Kiryienka still in a good position, only Rodriguez, Voeckler and LL Sanchez in front of him. Right behind there is a group of favorites where there aren't any Movistar men. Rui Costa, Valverde and Cobo are giving everything to reduce today's losses.
And Rodriguez takes the win! Kiryienka is third, and now let's see how many time did Movistar men will lose.

On the day that Agostinho is back on the road in Poland, the Tour had the 38 km time trial. Wiggins won the stage, beating Cancellara and Martin. Rodriguez managed to hold the yellow by just one second to Nibali.
Spoiler In deed, Rodriguez skills on TT are far from the true ones. He's got 72 now, and on real life not even with a lot of training could Rodriguez got that
Movistar did well, with Kiryienka again on the top 10, Rui Costa with the 13th place. Valverde was not on his terrain and he lost 1'35, being 35th.

Stage 1 Report Tour de Pologne
The first stage has the first category climb in Karpacz Orlinek...for 4 times!
With Nocentini on the break, Movistar starts an early chase with 100km to go. One of the guys on the break is Movistar reinforcement to 2013, Kwiatkowski.
With 13km to go the lack of fitness is more evident and Agostinho only have Gutierrez and Moreno with him. Some guys try to break, but the climbing will be over soon. 1 minute behind is Visconti with the help of Lopez and Arroyo.
The sprint is launched, Agostinho is not in a good position for the win, but he definitively will finish with the first men.
And Stybar beats Grega Bole!
Agostinho finnished in 14th place, and given the names that have lost time, this was a good day for him!

Stage 11 Le Tour de France
In France the peloton returns to the mountains and today we have the special category Grand Columbier, but after that there is still a 2nd category climb before the last 17 kms downhill to the finish line.
At the top of the first 2nd category climb, Kiryienka manages to leave the peloton with F. Schleck, get to the escapees, where Cobo helped him making 2nd place. A few other riders have left the peloton, so this should be an intense stage.
With 62 km to go and with the Grand Columbier on sight, the first two groups are now together with 14 riders:
- Kiryienka - Landa
- Cobo - Rolland
- F. Schleck - Kiserlovski
- De Clercq - Riblon
- Pietropolli - Cataldo
- Flecha - Taaramae
- Hushovd - Coppel
This great group is followed by Mollema and Gesink that are 4 minutes behind and they have 9'30 on the peloton. Is the winner on this group?
With 12km to the end of the climb, Andy Schleck tries to break away. Katusha is setting the pace, and the first 14 men group has 10' to the peloton and 3' to Gesink/Mollema.
And Kiryienka gets the 25 points on the Columbier (the same points he had yesterday)!
And Coppel gets the win to Saur Sojasun! Movistar men tried to reached thim, but they couldn't. What a stage to Kiryienka, again he got the points on the mountains.

While on Poland, the second stage finish with a mass sprint won by Impey, beating Bole, with everybody together at the end, in France the peloton face one of the hardest stages on this years Tour.
Stage 12 Le Tour de France
With two special category climbs, the famous Col de La Madeleine, Col de La Croix de Fer, followed by a 2nd category climb on Col du Mollard, the finish today is at the top, on Les Sybelles. So with 75 mountain points on discussion, let's see what Kiryienka will do today.
With the latest mountains to be decided by the GC guys, Kiryienka decided to go on the 18 men break. No opposition as he gets the 25 points on the Col de La Madeleine. They have 5 minutes on the peloton.
On the Col de La Croix de Fer, again Kiryienka increased the pace what was enough to get the 25 points again. The peloton only now wakes up at the break has over 15 minutes!
With 13km to go Kiryienka is still on front. His attack on the 2nd category climb gave him the points and he is alone with 1'20 to his 10 break companions.
And Kiryienka holds on to the first Movistar win...and he got again 25 points to the KOM classification.

Such a hard stage, was a catastrophe to the sprinters. A lot of them have abandoned, including green jersey Greipel, Cavendish, Demare, Boonen and 18 other. Meersman is now leading Points Classification, with Rodriguez and Kiryienka right behind him. |
