What is the fascination with being tall?
I'm only 5'11/6'. Its an awesome height to be. Tall enough to laud over people, but small enough to fit into seats comfortably

That won't happen easily here in the Netherlands... Most of my friends(Age 15-17) are bigger than you
But yeah, 180(Google says 5'11 is 180cm) seems fine

I have some classmates who are 15 and 195 cm tall...
Yep, I'm the shortest of the class with 176.

And i have friends that are 6'7 and 6'8!
My mates brother was 6'5 aged 14!
so what? they are tall. They spend more money on clothes and shoes, are always uncomfortable in lectures, have to eat and drink more which costs more.
It certainly doesn't help with cycling!

I didn't say that it's better to be tall, I was just saying that you would be kind of small if you would have lived in the Netherlands

I'm 1,92 or a bit taller (about 6'4). Sometimes i wish i was smaller (trains, lecture halls), sometimes i'm happy being taller than most (some sports, being i a crowded place). As long as you aren't extremely small/tall i don't see a reason to complain about one's size.

Yeah there are benefits with everything. Dwarfs enjoys flights/bus-trips better than me, I enjoy concerts/crowdy places better than them, that's life. |

I'd say I have hit that point of too tall lol, it was great during high school sports but now its kindof annoying. Then again I can't remember the last time I had to look up to somebody which is cool. Plus I can pretty much do whatever I want because nobody every wanted to mess with me. And I agree public transportation is aweful, and any place down south in the United States. I swear they build everything for short people down there, my head has hit so many ceiling fans and doorway entries it isn't even funny.

I'm about 6'5 - 6'6
I am very tall for a 15 year old. Plus it doesn't really help with my cycling cause my knees always hurt cause of me growing, STILL. I will I was 6 foot. Short people are so lucky

I'm 172cm, in my class there is only one shorter guy, and about 5 shorter girls, but yeah, I'm a year younger than the rest because I skipped a year so I guess it's fine.

I think I can sympathise more with the taller crowd here... Being 1.88 myself...
I am, what some people think, oversized for Short Distance Sprinting, but hey, who gives a rats A*se?

I'm 5ft 5in and was a really good climber when i was racing, but i prefered to mix it with the bib guys in the sprints
The only downside about being small was that you always got asked your age when yo went to the pub |

I love how there's tons of people here going "Only 1,70m" or "6ft, not tall" when the average adult male height in the EU is 1,74m
Talk about being influenced by the media
