Nice sprint. Goss looked pretty strong, if he keeps up there he'll get a stage sooner or later. |

Was it Balotelli?
.. and if Cav did that.. respect. But having Boasson Hagen in front will almost make the victory sure. That guy is machine.

Cav reckons he jumped of freire's wheel with 1km to go and knew he'd get into a decent position. |

Kittel: allegations at start of year, has disapointing season....
Uh?
Well only a few wins. He was the favourite in my eyes at Cali but got dropped or too slow, when I was watching.
Not too different from last year, actually. In California was weak, yeah, but that alone doesn't make a disappointing season for him. He's done better than last year when competing in strong fields, imo.
I guess. I just though he'd be doing better than last year. I mean he only started training as a sprinter last year I think. So I was expecting improvements, and like I said in my edit (that I didn't post in time ) he was being hyped as the biggest challenger to Cav. Plus it seemed he was a little better at getting to the sprint whether that meant getting over hills or fast pace and traffic furniture. I was expecting more I guess.

Really happy that Goss is up-there. Greip and him will fight for green.

With a kilometre to go, Cavendish was completely out of it. Sky has messed up. Hagen was riding along close-ish to Cav, but not helping.
But then, to save the day, a Greenedge rider comes surging forwards. Cav hops on, and is delivered to Greipel's wheel!
And a good close sprint for victory.

Very good by Veelers, Haedo not bad too for him.
Farrar... usual.
Pretty decent stage. Tomorrow will be hectic though.

My god, I hope Mørkøv loses the polkadot jersey soon. Danish TV2 has literally spent 75 % of the time today talking about how amazing he is. It's getting really annoying. |
