A Rally team, yes, that's possible. Forget about him at Lotus, they're barely in contact any more.

Not sure if Ferrari should be praised for the reliability of their 2012 car, or if Alonso is just so damn lucky this season. |

Pastor Maldonado's got to be the driver with the worst luck this season. |

Great win for Vettel. A long time since I saw a race that got finished without the correct number laps. |

No, this is just a general discussion thread for F1.
Some crazy transfers indeed. I predict Algersuari will replace Perez at Sauber.

I'd say Valsecchi, or another GP2 driver who can bring sponsorcash.

might as well have it here
This raises other questions though...
Who will replace Massa at Ferrari? (cause he has to go)
I'd like to see Kimi return to Ferrari, but it wont be. My guess might have been Kobayashi, but Sauber will want to keep one driver. Probably see one of there development dirvers from outside the current grid.
Where will Di Resta be next season? (i dont expect him to stay with FI)
I would have said McLaren... But a move to Williams might be on the cards. Or Renault as a longer shot.
Will Mercedes move forward on the Grid?
No. Hamilton, while a good driver, doesnt have such good understanding as someone like MSC. At least Nico has a similar(ish) style so the car should suit them.
Will McLaren go backwards?
No. This will help. Perez and Button are very easy on tyres. Expect a well balanced car which will need to stop less. If they can keep within a second of the top cars at each race they can make it up by not pitting.
This will also hurt his championship attempt. Button will be under less obligation to help if hes just going to leave.
But Hamilton should win in Japan if his car doesnt break and the team doesnt screw up.
Should be interesting racing and gossip now

Agree with most of it, but my bet is that Massa is staying. Ferrari has a culture of making everyone work for their number 1 pilot, and right now they'd rather keep an experienced and obedient Massa for that role, hoping he will produce better next year.
Also, it's true that Button manages his tyres far better than Hamilton, but that hardly ever guarantees having to pit less, it only gives you fresher tyres in the last part of the race
