Tour de Picardie
The Tour de Picardie features 3 flat stages. It is expected that the sprinters will do well here because of this. There are no major hills in this tour.

yeh it was a thought, but Turgot, Chavanel are been kept saved for the Tour de France, Chavanel especially has raced alot of days already this season and for him to challenge for good finishes on the sprint stages I see as more important

I have played the first 2 stages of the Criterium du Dauphine and will post them up tomorrow. We are close to the Tour de France now with only the Dauphine and the Route du Sud and National Championships left to play before it. I will also reveal my shortlist of riders to sign for next season soon

This year's race features the opening prologue and TT around Grenoble. The two mountain top finishes will ultimately decide the race, but expect the TT to have an effect also.
Stage 1
Gustav Larsson wins the opening TT, by far the favourite for this stage and he didn't disappoint.

Criteruim du Dauphine
Stage 2
The first chance for the GC contenders to put a little bit of time into each other. With many hills on today's stage and slight uphill finish it may favour a puncheur today.
Lone break of Joan Horrach of the Katusha Team, its a lonely road on your own, the peleton keep Horrach within sight for the whole stage before catching him.
The attacks start on the final climb, starting it off is Le Mevel of Garmin.
He is followed by Anton and Leipheimer.
Andy Schleck then follows, looks like the win could be between these attackers.
It's a win for Frenchman Le Mevel, just ahead of Anton in 2nd and Leipheimer 3rd. Anton will put on the Maillot Jaune, 3 seconds ahead of Le Mevel.

Criterium Du Dauphine
Stage 4
Today's stage is a long TT around Grenoble, this is the exact route that will be used in the Tour de France next month. Larsson and Leipheimer are the favourites for this stage.
Leipheimer takes the win and the overall lead with a brilliant time, blew the rest of the field away.
