Andy is the best placed Schleck, and the best time trialist. If Frank isnt quite able to follow right now, they might as well split their options and see how it plays out.

He may aswell wait for L'alpe when the others are cracking and he'll have some fresher legs...

Sure I agree that it might be that if Fränk isn't feeling his absolute best in the beginning of the stage it might be wise to him to drop back instead of going deep into red immediately. But I seriously doubt he would do this if he'd be able to follow without totally destroying himself |
