Ok i thought you knew some methods actually used to dope
Rumors!!! and do not wish to point a finger to anyone
if it was up to me, any caught using doping should be suspended for life even for the smallest margin
including:
Contador
Valverde
Dekker
Basso
Scarponi
Di Luca
Astarloza
Bosisio
Colom
kascheskin

lets view this from a logical point of view. if you were doping your team, would you use air transport to transport your goods. knowing everything passes through a scanner and drugsdogs?
Would you do it that way for any other purpose then?
On Gilbert's new hair style, bleaching your hair for passing a hair drug test doesn't work. It was done, iirc, because the newest version of synthetic EPO available by 1998 caused, as a secondary effect, the appearance of white spots in the hair, so that was a way to conceal a secondary effect, rather to try to pass a hair test.
(I don't quite remember the details, I remember something like that posted by isso some months ago)
And it's really obvious because it's not the whole head of hair getting lighter, but random spots.
Look closely:

Bleaching your hair doesn't (didn't) need to actually work to pass a dope test. But it was a common belief at the time, that it'd help one pass through corticoids tests (I hadn't heard about EPO, always heard it about corticoids), hence the numerous ones with suddenly bleached hair, or no more hair. |

Well, I suppose that a shaved head does work, but bleaching your hair doesn't. Anyway, I wouldn't be particularly worried about a single rider bleaching his head. |

Me neither. Common people also do that, so it can't be generalised.
There's one thing to keep in mind in those discussions though : an intelligent (or a commonly-sensed one) cyclist is an aberration.
You think it's just too stupid to be done ? Frankly that's anything but a proof. |

What's up with Belgian soigneur getting caught with lots of PEDs before the Tour? I'd understand if no teams hired Belgian soigneurs in the future.
Now, I'd like to hear Thomas Frei's take on this.

We've just spoken to Edvald and the great news is that he's good to go at the Tour. Full piece to appear on website in an hour or so but he told us: "I've never been feeling sick, I just had a bit of a rash on my back but that's gone now and I feel just as good as I did before. I'm really looking forward to the Tour now."
Oh yeah Edvald coming to kick some ass !

If anything he'd be his father-in-law. |

So much better than the standard jersey.

Yeah its great. If you take away the Argyle from this shirt, it looks very similar to FDJ's shirt from last year.

French crowd booing Contador, but claping for Vinokourov, lol. First question on Contador's conference asked by Kimmage was "why should we believe you?"

Yea, just the tour.
Most pathetic Swiss jersey ever ? At least it's slightly better than Schleck's.

I don't understand one thing... what does it have to be just the flag and not the whole jersey? It looks very ugly like that... :/ |
