Stage 2 was great. Nice ride by Barta and also winning the sprint.
Good that Del Nero was in the first group on the 3rd stage. Good position now.

BikeRoel
nice man 13 seconds on Uran, you can still win whit some luck

Stage 4 is another one with some important parts for us today. Del Nero´s position is quite good so far but Uran is still the better one!

Unfortunately I forgot to take some screens of this crazy stage today. With more than 70 kilometres to go, the pack was divided up into many smaller groups with Del Nero in the first. We took the chance and made another move which brought us actually more than 3 minutes to Uran! The break was in front of with Bazin, Iglinsky, Lechuga and Detko.
On the last shirt uphill section of today´s stage Del Nero made another attack but also the group with Uran came really fast there.
Finally, the stage was won by Bazin. The group saved an advantage of 30 seconds to the first group of favourites with Del Nero and Chadwick! Uran came with more than 2 minutes to Del Nero. We´re in yellow tomorrow with 1 minute and 38 seconds to Chadwick and even 1´57 to Uran. What a crazy stage...

The 5th stage is the last one with bigger chances for the overall favourites.
With our big advantage to Chadwick and Uran, we should be able to defend the yellow jersey today.

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Team%20NetApp/PCM0023-1.jpg
Jan Barta was on his way again. 26 points for him today which brought him the KoM jersey for sure as there are no bigger climbs left in the last 3 stages.

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Team%20NetApp/PCM0024-1.jpg
Because of the strong win today, the pack again divided up into some groups. Fortunately, Del Nero and Hesselbarth were able to stay in front there together with almost the whole Sky team.

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Team%20NetApp/PCM0025-1.jpg
Just a few kilometres before the stage end, we had a great position behind Rigoberto Uran. Del Nero felt good today and his sprint ability is not that bad. We really wanted this stage win today as Del Nero was in yellow without a stage win so far.

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Team%20NetApp/PCM0026-1.jpg
One kilometres to go and Nordhaug was able to lead the bunch sprint without sprinting. The Sky Team completely blocked Del Nero! We couldn´t pass them as there were no chance. In front of us a Sky rider, next to us one.

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Team%20NetApp/PCM0027-1.jpg
Easy win for Nordhaug! Lloyd and Possoni finished on the podium, too. But I don´t think that was a fair sprint by Team Sky....Del Nero was by far the strongest in the end with a lot of energy left but we had no chance to get out of this encirclement.

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Team%20NetApp/PCM0028.jpg
Del Nero finished on position 7. But the most important thing is, that we´ve defended the leader´s jersey.

By the way! We offered some contracts to Barta, Del Nero and Cozza.
It´s not sure up to here if they will sign again with NetApp. At least two of them should do that, if we want to attack the Pro Tour next year.

you won the presidential tour of turkey Pfft

Sorry guys for today as there were no updates so far. I´ve got some sad days right now....have to think a lot about some things so maybe I will post the next stage later.

tsmoha
Don't worry, Batista. There are a lot of more important things than this game, so don't feel pressured and take all the time you need!

Thanks tsmoha Wink

After some hard stages these days, we´re back in the valley. We have to save the leader´s jersey today and maybe Baumann is able to get a nice result for our team.

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Team%20NetApp/PCM0031.jpg
Well, Baumann hadn´t the legs today as the last bigger climb of today´s stage with many kilometres to go was just too hard for the German. We still had Del Nero with his amazing shape. His position was great when the sprint began.

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Team%20NetApp/PCM0032.jpg
And in a really close sprint final he´s the winner this time. Veelers and Van Dijk were beaten today. Great sprint performance by Del Nero who finally got his stage win in Turkey..great! He´s also leading the sprint competition after this stage.

7th stage is another flat one but this time without any harder climbs so Baumann might be able to keep it up.

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Team%20NetApp/PCM0035.jpg
We hadn´t the best position today with Baumann while especially Sutton and the Skil-Shimano Team were prepared brilliantly.

i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac288/FedExpress/Team%20NetApp/PCM0036.jpg
Sutton takes the stage win today in front of Van Dijk and Baumann! Great podium for the German there. But all in all we have to say, our fitness isn´t the best anymore and we´re still in April.....
