Impressive attack. He can be thankful that the chasing group messed up the pursuit though, they didn't work along well at all but came back quite close. |

this. It's not a stage race, consistancy counts for nothing.
And, well done Canada. 2 very good races, long may they continue.

Robert "Résink", I think I'll cut the sound on Eurosport fr if I must hear that again. "Leifeimer" now, ok, let's mute that.
Why do they have to spoil any broadcasting with the stupid renaming ?
Its hardly any worse than Ruben's pronouncation is it? I don't know, I never actually heard Ruben. |

Deserve win. But it was nice to see that the guys in 2nd group were working quite well. At least 4-5 of them with a TTT formation. You don`t see this very often unfortunately. Makes Gesink`s effort even stronger. |

I just can't not laugh at how dumb we all thought the decision to make these Canadian PT races were. They turned out great. |

I was just trying to bring a positive from the weekend of racing in Canada, results wise. |

What happened? I was watching the race during lulls at work, and just got home a second ago. Last I saw, a 5-6 man group had about 20" on the peloton. With Gautier, Horner, etc. ? They got caught in the first climb of the last lap (the major one), where Gesink attacked. Nobody could follow, and a group of 6 men, then a second group slightly larger broke away from the peloton. Gesink held on and won, the six men group reached the finish together but didn't work well together. And that's about it. |

Yes, very big crowds for these two races. Two great circuits that gave entertaining races. And there was some high profile riders here as well. Hopefully they will return next year.

Happy to say we are mostly all wrong there. Glad to see it worked out for Canada.

In my honest opinion, races shouldn't start out with a ProTour status, no matter how entertaining they potentially could be. It could've been great as a continental race too.
I have to agree with you that they turned out great though. |

I didn't know an opinion could be defined on a honesty scale.
Actually I always thought the H went for humble, but never mind. |

To me it looked like nobody really wanted to pull the group. Only Sanchez and Hesjedal put some real effort into their turns, it seemed.

I watched it parallel to football. But always when I had a look on it they were working very well together. But I might be wrong.
