We better leave the beta tests out of this, because it would be rather embarassing for Cyanide if all would know, that the beta test started with about five playable stages. And that there never were external beta tests for the patches.
To add my opinion, everyone is human, if weren't for the testers then our PCM game will be unplayable, they do a good job and take up alot of their time, we should respect them for that and not blame anyone, their not machines, mistakes happen and i would like to thank the testers for their role because they do a very good job, so thank you
There is a big misunderstanding in the discussion i had with Ruben. I did not blame the testers when i said the beta test went wrong this year. The fault is from Cyanide. We didn't even had a full time dev affected to the beta.
Second error is that we selected 'configurations' instead of players during the selection, and the result was that testers were only saying if a 3d race worked well, and we never saw them again.
Doddy and issoisso where one of our good beta testers, but there was only about 6 betatester which were really involved in the process. That's clearly not enough, and the reasons for it are private.
That said, i'm still angry about the multiple NDA breaks and screenshots leaks before the release that were posted here.
Eyolfur, do you realise that with the little changes cyanide does to the games from year to year if it wasn't for the hype created by those screenshot/feature leaks you would be selling A LOT less copies because the people would feel it's not a worth improvement to the previous year game?

There were no screenshot leaks here. Please back it up with a source / link.
There were a screenshot leak last year made by German members on a German board. Even though we knew about it and as a news site should have reported about it, we didn't.
