Only saw the last 20k - TdF is at the worst possible time for me this year - saw Basso emerging from the carnage so assumed that was the one he was talking about.
Just watched the ITV transmission. Even the british commentators on ITV said that Cav probably caused the crash.
Not that I think it was anything done on purpose here, looked to me that he was just going into the corner just a tad fast and tried to get around as good as possible.

Well, it didnt help that the Lampre guy was trying to take his place in the train
As long as Cavendish keeps this up, I can't complain. I don't know why, but I never liked him as a rider. I bet it is because he wins so many sprints...
