AG2R's (the company, not the team) appraisal of what the exposure given by sponsoring the team just at this year's TdF (no other races) is worth to them: 60 million euros.
Actual sponsorship fee paid by AG2R to Lavenu's team: 6 million euros.

Amazing return of investment, isn't it?
I don't remember the numbers that Stapleton quoted for Columbia last year, but they were much larger. Then again, that case was the team's manager quoting them, not the sponsor, so they can't be trusted.

How can sponsors be running away when they get returns like that? Makes no sense. |

When AG2R started sponsoring, they were a tiny regional company. Now their awareness is somewhere in the 90s (%)

Granted, this is Schumacher, one of the biggest douchebags in the history of cycling we are talking about here, but in a thing on cyclingnews he says he is pretty close to coming back and actually sounds like he's grown up and become a good person.
Doubt it, but still: https://www.cyclin...nt-athlete |

A lawyer representing Lance Armstrong's former teammate Tyler Hamilton confirmed that he is in discussions with federal prosecutors investigating possible doping and fraud charges against Armstrong and cycling team officials.
Chris Manderson told ESPN.com that he is trying to "work out ground rules and arrange a situation where Hamilton can speak confidentially and give them the information they need."
Tyler cannot be trusted...his credibility is already crap. This is a guy who tis so delusional that he thinks there's still an unborn twin in his body. |

That's exactly what I told them yesteday. All those people are just jealous at Lance and unreliable, desperately trying to get some attention from media.
Sad losers actually. |
