What's the reason for the split between the RR and the ITT NC?

No idea. The time trial just always seems to be on the first week of September, for whatever reason. It doens make much sense - as shown when it clashed with the Tour of Britain a few years ago.

No, it doesnt.

The Vuelta takes priority over it - and the Tour of Britain does aswell.

Not considering the competition.

Bernie Van Ulden was third. That is saying something.

Inferio
U.S. U23 road race and criterium champion Ben King (Trek-Livestrong) is probably going to take USPRO title as well...20kms to go with over 3 minutes lead over Hincapie, Leipheimer and Reijnen...

All that says is that the depth of competition wasnt great. He beat Leipheimer, thas enough of an achievement.

King just crossed the line at the US road race championships with at least a couple of minutes gap.

Deadpool
Nice win for him.

Rounding out the top 5 is:
2. Alex Candelario (Kelly Benefit Strategies)
3. Keillor Reijden (Jelly Belly)
4. Chris Horner (RadioShack)
5. George Hincapie (BMC)

Deadpool
Just to note, Kiel Reinjen is a beast.

Watch out for him.
