Looked like it was flying on Eurosport.
The danish comentator kept screaming that Nibali took too many chances and hitting the barriers and stuff, while it was very obvious that it was a pigeon slightly to the left of the middle of the road.
Sometimes mute seems the best button on the remote.

In terms of top time trailists, Vino was probably the last. I dont see Porte challenging for the win when on the same weather conditions.
And its probably too long for Greipel, so Wiggins may have done it

I agree. Porte is a good time trialist, not just with windy conditions |

Isn't he a decent prologue rider? A fast finisher and a decent rider against the clock? I might be confusing him with some other french dude...

52nd in the ParisNice prologue earlier in the year
And last year, 33rd in the Vuelta prologue, 36th in the TDF prologue
So yes, what about him?

Bonnet did some good prologues in the past SN
5 Paris - Nice, Prologue : Amilly I.T.T. 5
6 Deutschland-Tour, Prologue : Kitzbühel I.T.T. 3
3 Tour du Poitou-Charentes et de la Vienne, Stage 4 : Saint-Germain - Saint-Savin I.T.T.
So it's kinda bullshit to crack him down as non-ttist |

So sorry, I did not realise I was meant to ignore 2010 and 2009 results, and base my thoughts on the 2010 Giro d'Italia on performances from 2008
Never mind the fact that those Paris-Nice and Deutschland Tour results were about half the distance of this TT - the sort of distance where a sprinter can usually do better.
And Poitou-Charentes? Well, he was beaten by Morizot and Roux.
So to conclude. Stop bullshitting yourself

And even so, there is still nothing to have ever suggested he could beat Wiggins today. Which was my whole point.
