About the mono thing. Isn't the peloton kind of like a kindergarden? When one child catches something suddenly everyone gets it.
Combine that with a bunch of super skinny strained bodies with weak imune systems you've got this sort of mono "outbreak".
Oh and by the way: welcome out of the closet issoisso. Now you can wear the rainbow jersey with pride. |

Thanks. Now we're all just waiting for Pozzato to admit what everyone already knows and come out of the closet

According to our resident token dutchman, the UCI are drug testing Hoogerland every ten seconds.
Can't say I'm surprised. As I said to doddy in January: "the real question this season is how many months until they nab Hoogerland?"

Hoogerland says only armstrong is probably more tested than himself
He is really feeling the heat. Expect a dissapointing Amstel Gold Race from him |

While that's technically true, according to Simoni's agent, what he means by he'll end his career at his home Giro isn't that he'll ride the Giro d'Italia.
It's his home Giro del Trentino.
So he'll end his career next week.
Unless plans have changed and he's suddenly doing the Giro d'Italia too.
It would be a nicer way to finish, just like Moreno Argentin.
Not that I'm comparing Simoni to a legen like Argentin, of course.

Plans have changed, and he is suddenly doing the Giro d'Italia too. He signed a short-term contract with Lampre. |

In order to boost the development of cycling in Kazakhstan even more, Samruk-Kazyna (National Wealth Fund) will allocate 300 million euroes to cycling in Kazakhstan this year.
Should be "only" 300.000 euroes. The article I got the info from was incorrect...
In other (good?) news:
Andrey Kashechkin not likely to join Astana in 2011 because of some disagreement with the team.

A study by Philadelphia's Monell Chemical Senses Center, published in the Journal of Psychological Science reported that "gay men were found to be particularly good at detecting the musk of other gay men"
(Don't take this seriously; it's just a joke)

Remember Rujano's throwaway comment the other day about hoping to be at the Giro either with ISD or with another team?
He's negotiating with Footon.

I was so excited when i saw this: https://news.bbc.c...622315.stm on the front page of the BBC. Until I read it and realised that cycling is mentioned only in the first paragraph.

The BBC and cycling just don't seem to go well together. It's amazing that Paris-Roubaix recieved no article whatsoever, and yet they manage to produce a hugely unimportant article titled 'Illness hits Armstrong Tour plans.' |

Those shoes look like something I saw at waghlons place when he roofied me.
