Stage 4 : Castro Marin - Tavira ITT
4th Stage is an ITT which should decide about the general standings.Voigt is the leader at the moment after an impressive stage win by him yesterday.Tony Martin wants to attack today and ride a great time
Vandewalle set the first good time today and he should lead for a long time
Hoste couldn´t beat the time of Vandewalle but it´s still a good ride by him (12th/+1´57)
Barbosa did a great job today and so he´s able to beat the leading time by 2 seconds
Next guy was Arvesen, his time is good but it´s not enough to beat Barbosa (13th/+1´59)
And so we had to wait long for the next good ride. But then Knees came with an amazing result! He´s the new leader for the moment
Even Bradley Wiggins couldn´t beat Knees´time. He is 3 seconds behind the German (8th/+1´50)
Here comes Mark Cavendish with a great day and a fantastic time, too. His day form was +5 and his ride is 13 seconds faster than Knees´
Gerdemann came with a really good time but he couldn´t beat Cav! (6th/+1´36)
But Tony Martin could do that! It´s only one second in the end but he´s in front for the moment
Next one was Fabian Cancellara.Well, I don´t think I have to say something about his time...He is one minute and 33 seconds faster than Tony Martin!
Boasson Hagen set an amazing time but his arrears to Cancellara is one minute and 22 seconds...
There was only one rider left,Jens Voigt. If he can get such a great time like Cancellara??
No he can´t he is 58 seconds behind his team-mate but he defends the leader´s jersey

Stage 5 : Vila Do Bispo - Portimao
Last stage in Portugal and it should be another chance for Cavendish
The break was really strong today. The group was big and so it was hard for us to bring them back
Muravyev could leave the breakaway after an attack
A smaller group was behind him but the gap was already too big
And this is the rest of the break but it seems that the pack will catch them in a few moments
Muravyev was still in front with only 5 kilometres to go.It´s not the first time in this tour that he is in a break
Behind in the pack Mark Cavendish is ready for a sprint
But Muravyev was just too strong today,he takes the stage win.Our team worked a lot to catch the break but the other teams din´t help us so it was impossible
Cavendish wins the sprint of the pack and becomes 6th behind Nelson Rocha,Nicolas Rousseau,Mario Costa and Gorka Izagirre

The team choice was not easy this time but we took a really strong team
Here is our team-squad
Michael Rogers
Bert Grabsch
Michael Albasini
Bernhard Eisel
Andre Greipel
Rasmus Guldhammer
Tejay Van Garderen
Michael Rogers is our team-captain and with Albasini he gets a great chance for a good general ranking.Bert Grabsch,Bernhard Eisel and of course Andre Greipel are responsible for the sprints,so let´s hope this tour will be great for our team |

Stage 1 : ITT Jaen
First stage is a short time trial which is pretty useful for Grabsch and especially Rogers. The main favorites are except Rogers and Grabsch,Castano and Cesar Veloso from Xacobeo
Grabsch was the first one coming with a great time. With 11 minutes and 24 seconds he should be able to get a good result there
Cesar Veloso was pretty strong today but he failed Grabsch´s time by only one second.
His team-mate Castano was even faster than him.New best time by Castano, 11´20!He takes the leading position for the moment but there was still one rider left,Michael Rogers
And here he came with high speed. But Rogers couldn´t beat Castano´s time.He became second in the end,3 seconds behind Castano and one second in front of Grabsch
Stage results/Overall
1 | Carlos Castaño | Xacobeo - Galicia | 11'20 | 2 | Michael Rogers | Team HTC - Columbia | + 3 | 3 | Bert Grabsch | Team HTC - Columbia | + 4 | 4 | Gustavo César Veloso | Xacobeo - Galicia | + 5 | 5 | Oleg Chuzhda | Caja Rural | + 13 | 6 | Guy East | Kelly Benefit Strategies | + 15 | 7 | Rubén Reig | Caja Rural | + 17 | 8 | Benjamin Cujnik | Adria Mobil | + 19 | 9 | Jonas Vangenechten | Verandas Willems | s.t. | 10 | Michael Albasini | Team HTC - Columbia | s.t. | 11 | Guillermo Lana | Caja Rural | + 20 | 12 | Matti Helminen | Cycling Club Bourgas | + 21 | 13 | Jake Keough | UnitedHealthcare presented by Maxxis | s.t. | 14 | José Herrada | Caja Rural | s.t. | 15 | Sergej Fuchs | Team Nutrixxion Sparkasse | s.t. |

Stage 2 : La Guardia de Jaen - Humilladero
Second stage is made for sprinters like Greipel or Eisel. The competition isn´t really hard but we´re not too confident
The break with 5 riders on an uphill sprint assessment
First KoM went to Lisabeth who is wearing the jersey tomorrow after he took the second place on the second KoM competition
The pack was really fast with only 8 kilometres to go ´cause of a sprint assessment which was won by Corioni
With only 4 kilometres to go our sprint train was the fastest and they even could get a small gap to the pack.Grabsch did a great job today and so he´s consigning the leading position to Bernhard Eisel who leads out Andre Greipel
The sprint begins and at the moment only Stefan Van Dijk can hold on with us
Greipel makes his move at the one kilometre brand while Garcia Da Pena
comes really fast from behind
Greipel takes the stage in front of ....
.....Da Pena and Stefan Van Dijk.Eisel sadly missed the podium but still great race by him leading out Greipel perfectly. This group was so strong in the end that they even could get a gap of 19 seconds to the pack
