Looks like you started the sprint too early there, better luck next time.
Really like your monthly presentations. Maybe I'll steal the idea if I do another season with Discovery
Edit: By the way, why don't you turn on the shadows in graphics menu before you load the replays? I think that makes the screenshots look a lot better.

Glad you like it. And you are more than welcome to 'steal' it since I also stole from you the resized screenshots

well I play the replay right after the stage. And I play without the shadows because the games runs slower with the shadows on. But I might try to save the replay and take some screenshots with the shadows on. Thanks for the tip

Thanks. I think I mentioned on one of the previous pages that he is going to be in top form during the Giro, so we should see him there

Barbosa won yesterday but will Bos were the Sky train beat him? We will have to wait and see...
Chris Froome attacked at the top of the only categorized climb of the day. After catching all the escapes and leaving them behind one by one, he was brought back in the pack with less than five kilometers left from the stage
That means that we are going to have an another mass sprint. Flecha and Vigano are there for Sky, but Henderson is missing as the climb proved a little bit too difficult for him. Also in this picture we can see Froome being caught by the pack
The fastest train was the one made by Bbox for Trofimov. All the other sprinters, including Vigano, tried to follow the Russian's wheel
Vigano and Bos tried everything they could until the last meters of the race...
But it was impossible to beat Trofimov, who brings an another victory for Bbox. He was followed by Barbosa and Bos, while Vigano failed again in reaching the podium, finishing only fourth

Barbosa dominated the first 2 stages with a win and a second place. Still he didn't gain any bonifications and it will be pretty hard for him to keep the leader's jersey. The main 2 favorites of the day are Brajkovic and Lovkvist, but it will also be interesting to see how much time will Andy Schleck and Sastre lose
Machado lead for an while after finishing the 16 kilometers in 20 minutes and 5 seconds
But he had to chance to keep the lead after Lovkvist crossed the line. Lovet had an amazing day and beat Machado's time with 45 seconds. He also won one minute and eight seconds over Sastre, and one minute and 14 seconds over Andy Schleck
On paper Brajkovic was better rated than Lovkvist and even managed to beat the Swede's time at the first check with 2 seconds. But he lost 14 seconds in the second part of the stage and finished 12 seconds behind Lovkvist
Barbosa had an another great ride to finish third. But the bad news for him is that he lost the yellow jersey to Lovkvist, who becomes the new leader of Vuelta a Murcia
Stage | Overall
1. | Thomas Lövkvist | Sky Professional Cycling Team | 19'21 | 2. | Janez Brajkovic | Team RadioShack | + 12 | 3. | Cândido Barbosa | Palmeiras Resort - Tavira | + 26 | 4. | Ángel Vicioso | Andalucía Cajasur | + 43 | 5. | Tiago Machado | Team RadioShack | + 45 | 6. | Xavier Tondo | Cervélo Test Team | s.t. | 7. | Oleg Chuzhda | Caja Rural | + 49 | 8. | Laurens Ten Dam | Rabobank | + 52 | 9. | Alejandro Porto | Palmeiras Resort - Tavira | + 53 | 10. | Andrei Kunitski | Quick·Step | + 57 | 11. | Nicolas Vogondy | Bbox Bouygues Télécom | s.t. | 12. | David Le Lay | AG2R La Mondiale | s.t. | 13. | David Bernabéu | Barbot - Siper | + 1'00 | 14. | Markel Irizar | Team RadioShack | s.t. | 15. | Ivan Rovny | Team RadioShack | + 1'03 |

Lovkvist is a better climber than Brajkovic, which means that the real threats are still Schleck and Sastre but hopefully the time that he won over them in the TT will prove to be enough to defend the first place.

The race is full of cobbled sections, ascents and descents, which makes it perfect for Edvald Boasson Hagen. His main opponents today seems to be Kuschynski, Traksel and Ista
There were no escapes today but with 40 kilometers to go we saw a group of circa 40 riders going away from the pack. The main favorites were there, including Hagen, Arvesen and Hayman. Arvesen and Visconti tried an attack a few kilometers later but it didn't last for too long and they were brought back in the group
On the last cobbled section of the day, Ista and Kuschynski took the lead of the group and only other 8 riders were able to follow them. One of them was Hagen, but Hayman and Arvesen struggled on the climb and lost the contact with the group
No one was able to go by himself today and it looks like we are going to see a sprint in 10 for today's win. Vacansoleil seem to be the favorites there with 3 riders, Traksel, Marcato and Westra
Traksel lead for almost the entire kilometer, but Hagen was always in his wheel which wasn't real good news for the Dutch. The duo was so strong they even made a gap between them and the other riders in the group
Hagen made the smart move not attacking too early there. He took the lead from Traksel only a few meters before the finish line and he never lost it which brings him another win. Strade Bianche is his 5th win this season. Traksel took only the second place in the end, while his team - mate, Westra sprinted for the third place.

Nice story!
I am looking forward to Sky in the Tour de France.
Hope Wiggins will be in good shape. I also played with Sky and the Tour was a disastre, I had no chance with Wiggins.

Lovkvist took the lead in yesterday's time - trial and even though this stage is rated as a mountain one, there are over 20 kilometers between the top of the last climb and the finish so we might have a nice chance to keep his jersey
The bad news is that the game crashed at the end of the stage and I have only one picture and no exported results. Zaballa made the first attack on the last climb of the day and Lovkvist was right after him. But our rider proved to be way more stronger than the Spaniard and took a solo lead to pass the top of the climb with almost one minute advantage over his main chasers. From his main opponents only Brajkovic and Andy Schleck tried something on the climb, while Sastre just rode in the pack. In the last kilometers Zaballa came very close being way faster than Lovkvist on the downhill but Thomas managed to stay in front and takes his second stage win in a row and to consolidate his overall lead

Thanks. Hopefully he will get some good results in Tirreno - Adriatico too, but now with the big race coming it will be way harder to win.
