You can't use the .cdb file for anything when you don't have the rest of the package. |

Something strange started today. For some reason every time I play a race usually about halfway through the race the local.db will just disappear. The flags next to the rider's names becomes the pink square, and after the stage ends the entire interface is pink. I know I have the weird set-up with my Program Files folder on my external hard drive, but the My Docs folder in still in My Docs, the set-up has worked fine for the last few weeks since I installed it, and it starts out fine before erring in the middle of a race.
Any ideas? |

Happens from time to time with pretty much all custom databases. If you upload your save game, I can skip a day for you. |

the problem is that I reinstall pcm but there is the crash, and after I try with other db and with official that there is always the crash  |

hi all
I have a problem with the database.
I have reach 1st of july 20011 and then I click to go day forward but then my game crashed.
Now when I try to start up the game, it reports that the PCM.exe have an error, and I cannot start the game at all know.
Anyone has a sollution for that or have tried anything like it?

I'm so relieved now that someone has the same problem !
It happened to me twice recently and i can't stressed out enough that it is SO annoying !
I tried skipping the day manually with editing the GAM-config table in Hannes Converter. Altought the method works perfectly well, the main problem reside in the fact that the upcoming races like the dauphiné, the tour de suisse and the tour de france starlists are all wrong !! that means no contador or armstrong !!! ie sebastien joly wins the dauphiné and augustyn wins the tour de france. i cant explain that problem.
If someone would be so kind as to fix this, i would be very grateful ! |

Thanks for your respons. Nice to hear your managed to fix the problem in your savegame.
Now I have download the Hannes Converter and opened the GAM_config file but i can seem to find out how to go one day furher in the converter.
Can you tell how to do?

And for the problem of the starlists all messed up, do you have any idea where something could have gone wrong when modifing the db?
For information here are the things i've edited in hannes:
DYN_cyclist
DYN_team
DYN_scout
DYN_coach
DYN_physician
DYN_contract_cyclists
and i edited the db before the carrer with the game editor to add youngsters.
I'm trying now to go to 30 june 2011 with an unaltered PCM daily's db and i will keep you posted.

The 30th of June-crash happens in all custom databases and is pretty random - so quite possibly, it has nothing to do with your editing. |

That can't be your save game - either that or it's seriously screwed up. No rider contracts, no info in GAM_config, etc. |
