notice from the course: the wind is actually a TAILwind
that is definitely a very big plus in Contador's favour.
in fact, given that I'd say contador has the yellow pretty much guaranteed.
Sorry for the misreport. lol. Yeah I woke up and was watching eurosport and heard kelly say that. |

What is up with Lance and Johan treating Contador as the chosen one. Don't like it one bit.

Evans is only gaining half the time he needs so far.
the start is supremely important mentally, depending on the differences between them, each will either win or lose a lot of morale. |

Gutierrez says his chain slipped and that lost him 25-30 seconds I believe.
also, Evans will need to be getting 35 seconds on Contador at the first check, but if he keeps this low speed he'll probably get passed by Leipheimer... |

i agree even though Karpets pulled out a fantastic TT Levi will win it
and unless Contador has problems he will win the TdF, dissapointing as i really wanted Evans to finally win

speaking of predictions, remember a week or so, me and Crommy talking about how every prediction I make for the Tour turns into problems for that rider?
starting that very day, Valverde faded badly. my last prediction had been "I predict Valverde will win every race for the next 20 years" (to take advantage of that fact ) |

unofficial race radio says the gap between Cadel and Contador is 44secs
so Cadel is picking the pace up
