I'm having a bit of a "throwback Friday", so enjoy
Despite the total absence of a single article on L'Équipe website so far, the duathlon WC took place today (10 km running, 40 km cycling, 5 km running).
I know, sort of, the two winners in person, since they're locals (they live 40 km away albeit in different directions). I even cycled with the girl who won last week (though my contribution didn't provide a thing to her physical condition ). The guy is another local, quite active on Strava, cycles regularly with the guy I cycled with, and is a local running and cross-country legend (and former international athlete on 1500m and short distance cross-country).
Reminder to self: When buying flight tickets to New York and hoping to see a NFL game, it might be worth checking that any of the two teams are actually playing while you're there...
I'd recommend seeing the Rangers play, great night of entertainment. Knicks isn't a bad call either. Both are pretty solid value for money thanks to the seating layout of MSG.
