I thought about it but I decided to place him there because he may have to help for lue khamse kamphan and may not ride for his own. Same reasons for roelandts and vanmarcke..

I can't believe how many teams are sending 8 top riders here. Do you guys not have raceday issues?
Fun fact: Powers is taking part in 3 races at once now; Oman, Catalunya and De Panne. Told you he was the new Pate.
COME ON TAYLOR!!! (and Greg)

GP Miguel Indurain
This may prove to be a very exciting race, with hills all around and a very good looking finish.
Danny Pate: He's here, he'll win. Do we need any other favourites?
:
Alejandro Valverde: Movistar are really going out there, and Valverde will look to challenge Pate for the win.
Rui Costa & Benat Inxtausti: As I said, Movistar are taking this really seriously. With Pate's lack of support Valverde could stand a chance with some great riders helping him.
Luis Leon Sanchez: LLS might be on course for a nice result here, but maybe Top 5 is the best he can hope for.
T.J. Sithembile: Sithembile is great over hills, but maybe his endurance could hinder him badly here.
Igor Anton: Igor is under pressure to deliver Euskaltel some important points. Can he?

Ok so well guys my screenshots from the last few kilometres have disappeared. I'll report with just words for that part obviously, but it's a shame because it was a great race.

GP Miguel Indurain
3 riders chance their luck at the beginning. They are Miletta (VIN), Pliuschin (IAM) and Kaisen (LTB).
These 3 are all in the break of the day, as well as Garate (BEL), Kiendys (CCC), Hagg (TNE) and P. Feunard (CJA).
With 20km to go the break splits, and Garate goes off alone. There are only 46 left in the peloton at this point.
At the exact same point in the road the favourites attack from the peloton. From front to back they are Valverde, Fuglsang, Sithembile, Edet and Slagter.
Anton has stayed back, so Euskaltel take control of the peloton along with Katusha. They bring the favourites back with 15km still to ride.
The next attack will probably stick. Straight after being caught all the same riders go again as well as Anton and Caruso. J. Vanendert is also hanging on.
9.5km: Anton is chasing Garate. They are both solo, and behind them are Fuglsang, Slagter, Caruso and Valverde. Belkin seem to have the advantage with two cards to play, but they also have the worst riders of these 6.
3km: Garate still somehow leads! He has 35" on Anton and 8 more on Valverde. The next group are probably gone, a further 34 seconds down.
The breakaway rider still leads up the final climb! Can this be a miracle for Belkin?
Spoiler If I was a bitch then I'd end the report here
No! The catch is made under the kite. I think that everyone except for Euskaltel and Movistar wanted Garate to hang on there, but it seems like all 3 riders are out of gas! Anything is still possible!
The sprint will be contested by Valverde and Anton.
With just a few turns of the pedal to go, the riders are inseparable.
It's a photo finish! But Anton takes it! Hard goal not achieved for Movistar.
And look at that! The next group actually makes the catch, but fortunately for the neutral Garate holds on for 3rd, making it an all-Spanish podium.
The favourites mostly finish together.
