Liverpool sign Aspas.
Meanwhile Villa cloes to securing 2nd player, Nicklas Helenius. From what I hear, another massive talent from Denmark.
God, I love Lambert and his policies, so much better than going for ''experienced'' players at high wages. At Villa, Dunne, Given, (Heskey in past), Bent and Ireland all earn more than 50,000 per week
Thank god we are getting rid of them all soon.

Not sure why Villa wants him. Don't they already have plenty of strikers?
That said, Helenius' a great talent. Recently won an UEFA award as player of the year in the Danish league.
Not that I agree with it, but he did have a great season, being the most "productive" player with 16 goals and 7 assists (combined, that's more than anyone else in the league).
From sources, I know that Ajax wanted him in the Winter transfer window. Not sure why it fell through.

Looks like Jores Okore to Aston Villa is a done deal - so two Danes at Villa next season.
I'm still not super-convinced about his talent, but it's worth noting that he did refuse an offer from Chelsea (confirmed), so maybe the pros are seeing something that I don't |

Well Villa has great facilities, pays big bucks as well. Plus they are good at developing talent.
Plus Lambert ( former Borrusia player ) is trying to replicate their system of transfers and playing, hence going for younger guys.

Aston Villa will do a top 8 surprise for me. With great strikers and their coach Paul Lambert i think they can.

So Okore and Bonuca signed for Villa today. We are moving quick this window. 4 signings in June is quite something so far.
Helenius to be signed in coming days. Rumours are that Benteke is going extend to soon.
Good times so far. UTV!

Bacuna next to go to Villa: 21-year-old Dutch winger, played for Groningen, also used as 10. Was always seen as a great talent, but wasn't too strong last season.

So, my old teammate as a kid and now one of the bigger talents in Denmark, Nicklas Helenius, has been sold to Aston Villa from my heart club, Aalborg BK.
Looking forward to follow Aston Villa with Okore and Helenius now.

And another Danish forward Andreas Cornelius moves to Cardiff, setting new transfer records. The most expensive player ever sold from a Danish club, Cardiff's most expensive transfer too. |

So, many Danes! First post here, but call me the resident expert . Focus away from Scananavia, HÃguaÃn to Arsenal is proceeding slower than a snail atop a turtle. |

And to complete the striker's overhaul, Wayne Rooney has also been linked as well as Arsenal announcing the signing of Yaya Sanogo last night. |

I doubt Podolski would do that:
He was one of the best Arsenal players (even though all were a bit disappointing except Cazorla) last year with all the assists plus I guess he likes Arsenal a lot. The other question is where should he go?
But I wonder what Wenger is on:
You can't win championships with just buying offensive players even though he has already enough of them.
The defense is not good enough for any championship/silverware.

Apparently Wenger has decided to wield the axe on some of his so called stars and is going to start the new season with a fresh approach |
