But Démare is a neo-pro, and has already had a (quite) better season than Bouhanni did in his first year in the pro ranks.

Great win by Gorka!

And is nice to see our best uruguayan rider in 7th!

Hope he can get into the Caja Rural's list for La Vuelta. He would become the first uruguayan running a GT.

With Meersman coming from very far behind, with a very strong sprint, celebrating, but the finish foto gave Napolitano the win, and Meersman the second place (in stage & in the GC 1 second behind) Sad
(For those who didn't see the finish video Pfft)

Wilier
Yeah he was very close there. He must felt very stupid and dissapointed after the finish.

Napolitano is on some great form at the moment Wink

Tiernan-Locke won today for the first time since coming back from injury in Alsace. 2nd was Pliuschin with the same time. Rest of the field was +58secs

ember
There were only 3 riders that followed 58 seconds behind Tiernan-Locke and Pliuschin. A big breakaway went away early, and they also fought it out for the stage win, and most likely the overall placings aswell. Great to see Tiernan-Locke winning again, he should be a sure signing for Sky?

Looks like it was a crazy race. Top 4 within a minute, then almost four minutes to the fifth, and 8+ minutes on the rest. Quite some gaps.

The break was made on an early climb.
Then the rest of the stage wasn't quite as hard.
