well Kelderman dissapointed a bit, even for the folks in The Netherlands. which is a fact because the dutch fans haven't posted much about Kelderman in these three weeks
also, weren't the Giro and the Vuelta having weekly threads because it would get too messy/crowded or something like that. what happend to that policy we have a preview, first week, second week and third week in one thread.
I wasn't disappointed. That people are disappointed because their expectations suck (too high as usual), that should not be Keldermans problem
Every rider reacts differently to a 2nd GT in 1 year. Majka didn't fare much better than Kelderman last year. But look how that changed this year.
Nibali a few years ago was really good in the Giro (3rd as slave for Basso) and then really a letdown in the Vuelta.

It happens..
Well..... Nibali actually won the Vuelta that year (2010) you are referring to. Antón was clearly the best, but since he crashed and Rodriguez sucked on the TT, he won.
With that being said, Timo had high hopes before the Vuelta and I am sure many expected more from him, me included. After Dauphine and his showing in Utah which looked like he was on the right way, he slightly disappointed in my opinion
