And now the scary part:
The next stage is an arguably harder climb

That is an awesome crowd, and its not full of tourists like the tour
Basso is crazy, i hate to say it i can't see anyone stopping him now. But maybe one of the other GC riders will have good TT to keep the race alive. |

Interesting ride today. Basso very strong. Sastre is, like we know, becoming stronger and stronger all the time. If he can avoid losing over 1 minute on the TT, then I think he will be a serious candidate for the overall win.
Arroyo should be somewhat 5th or so in the end of this Giro, while Porte might get within top 10 if lucky. Pinotti was good today, hopefully he will be in top 6, and also Bauke Mollema seems to be getting better now. Could be a bid for the Young riders jersey, given that Porte will keep on losing 3-4-5-6 minutes on the favs.

I've made a quick calculation on the top 10 after this stage (Without knowing anything about Tondo, Kiserlovski, Gerdemann and Wiggins.)
1 David Arroyo 0
2 Ritchie Porte +2'35
3 Ivan Basso +3'33
4 Carlos Sastre +4'21
5 Cadel Evans +4'43
6 Alexandre Vinokourov +5'51
7 Vincenzo Nibali +6'07
8 Michele Scarponi +6'41
9 Marco Pinotti +9'53
10 Damiano Cunego +10'19
