Odd result, but definitely an interesting race. Paul Martens once again confirming his good season, though I was hoping he would finish it
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Hägg you beauty. Fulfilles the sponsor goal of Top 10 on 10th... Outstanding, marvelous! I had hoped he'd be one of the riders who are active in the breakaway here and he just goes ahead and fulfills this. Gerat job!
Great report Dippofix, very active race here in Köln.

Great report Dippo. NetApp once again found out in a one-day race. They all just sit at the back and wait to be caught out. Well, apart from Hägg that is. Very strange.

Hägg in his usual attacking self
Slightly disappointing result from Verboven, but good to see the team working for him and even supporting him on cobbles!

OH MY FUCKING GOD YESJ!
we (Jesleyh and I) were discussion if we should do Finanzplatz or Köln, I managed to convince him to do Köln. so this victory means a lot to me. also Arashiro 20th, Tortelier 13th, Drucker 7th and Lasca 3rd makes me happy. all my teams got points

This proves my point, I told you that people would sent less sprinters
Coquard would be 4th best
4th is not good enough
and besides it's Ollfardh, he's too busy with giving penalties and the man-game before actually checking what kind of profiles it is.
but we'll see if I was right or not ar Köln

Congrats Luigi
Though who knows what would have been the result if we raced Finanzplatz. You never know, we could've just made the difference in the break for example

Okay it actually wasn't at long as I thought, and it was a very dark day...
Stage Five
The BOTD consists of Downing (TNE), Pauwels (AJW), Lewis (CSS) and Hovelynck (CRE).
Pauwels is able to use his punchy ability to get in front of Downing to claim the full 5 points. Downing almost did a favour for Hagg there, who is in the polka dot jersey.
The peloton are 5'42" behind with the last 100km of the Tour. Here we see the huge frame of Hollestein (IAM) doing the pace making.
The last KOM of the race was no more than a bump, barely worthy of a KOM point. Downing uses his natural speed to take the points and secures the polka dot jersey for his team mate Hagg. It's a great coup for the new EPIC rider. 3'27" is the advantage back to the peloton.
We enter the circuit with 60km to go, and it starts with an intermediate sprint which Lewis wins. The break has 2'59".
Europcar take control, they have yellow jersey Shroder, Kristoff and Spilak are too the fore, so is Ronaldo and Totti for IAM.
Fischer has been a top rider for Lotto this race, he is pulling the peloton back into the sight of the back of the break.
Last 33km, Hovelynck ups the pace. The break know that it is over fairly soon.
Pauwels decides he wants to last a little bit longer and he attacks on the short downhill without reply, he soon opens up a decent advantage.
With 20km to go, the break behind Pauwels have been caught by attackers Schroder (EUC), De Clercq (LTB), Spilak (KAT), Stromberg (IAM).
The four GC contenders soon drop the earlier escapees, they go in for pursuit of Pauwels who leads by 1'08". Spilak doesn't cooperate, Katusha must still be thinking about a Kristoff stage win.
Last 10km and it is going to be close, if the 4 can get over the top they have a real chance of a stage win. Pauwels is really struggling now.
He is caught and Bardiani take up the chance thinking about Modolo, Katusha are a bit spent so if they can get in to the front he will have a strong train.
But on the downhill they maintain their lead and the peloton shred riders off the front in desperate fashion in order for their sprinters.
Bardiani have the perfect train for Modolo but Kristoff is on his wheel who has been super strong this week. Vantomme and Lobato are in line as well. Kakhi also in the mix as always.
Stromberg starts the sprint off, Schroder is in the most perfect position on his wheel with De Clercq and Spilak are on the other side of the road and they trail slightly.
Around the final bend and Bardiani seem to have left it too late, Pauwels has nothing left while the four up front scrap for position in the final kilometres.
The peloton is strung out and Modolo's leadout starts to unleash, they have closed the gap but the escapees are still going well.
Under the flamme rouge, Stromberg is dropped after his perfect lead out for Schroder, the three arrow head towards the finish line.
In the final few metres Schroder is able to get his wheel in front...
And it's 2 in 2 for Schroder and Europcar! He is the winner of the Tour of Norway and is another success for EPIC riders everywhere.

Yes! Awesome win. I always knew that he is nicely balanced and would win at some point and what a great race this was for him.
And it was even a season goal for the team
I ... I ... I am so shocked... I didnt expected that at all. It's hard for me to say anything now. I ... I want to thank the team who did an amazing work the last days and it wasnt easy to pull back all the attacks but they managed. Thanks to my manager Luigleyh who always kept trusting me even when i didn't trusted myself anymore. I want to thank my agent Mr. Kurt Nock-Out who managed to get me into this fantastic team and nacho who helped getting the wins published. And i want to thank my mom. Without her i would not be here now and celebrate this moment.
This win is not my win but it is the win of all you. Thank you so much. This is for you!
EDIT: Spoiler
Europcar take control, they have yellow jersey Shroder
It is Schröder !!!
