Damn, the danes are doing great. 2 danes on Tinkoff isnt actual unrealistic now for the Tour. Great for Matti, has been quite unlucky whole his career. |

Herklotz looks good for GC in Luxembourg. Unless Drucker holds on I can see him winning this. |

Tour de Luxembourg, Stage 2: Rosport - Schifflange (2.HC)
Edit: But the most important thing is that Herklotz finished 4th. Drucker takes the leader's jersey from D. van Poppel.
Amazing Matti! Great race by Mørkøv today and yesterday too. Really hoping that Matti will find his way back, he has been through so much trouble. Let's hope from now on he won't run into anymore crashes / injuries, and instead live up to the potential we all know he has.
Present:
Tinkoff-Saxo - AG2R - Colombian riders
Past:
Francisco Mancebo - Illes balears - Carlos Sastre - Kelme - Robbie McEwen

Good to see him start winning again. Hopefully he'll be able to take it up a notch to WT-races soon...
I think he should start going after hilly races in stead of insisting on being a cobbled rider when he's knee gets bust every year doing cobbles-prep.

Theo Bos (Belkin) wins the Ronse van Zeeland Seaports (1.1) in front of Sinkeldam (Giant - Shimano) and Van Staeyen (Topsport Vlaanderen).
Eliot Lietaer (Topsport Vlaanderen) wins todays stage in the Boucles de la Mayenne (2.1) with Teunissen (Rabobank) losing the lead to Rossetto (BigMat - Auber). |

Who would you have go? Matti surely isn't going, he hasn't shown anything in ages, and even if he is in top TOP form he isn't a rider you NEED at the tour when you're trying to win overall.
Chris Anker has to show great form in Tour de Suisse to even be considered, and they have better options for the role he would fill.
Mørkøv might have a chance as a helper, but they have other riders that could go just as well.
The rest of the danes simply aren't good enough. |

Roche, Rogers, Contador, and Kreuziger are surely going I think. Bennati and Tossatto is probably also going, and unfortunately Jesus Hernandez aswell. Then there's 2 spots left for those guys: Paulinho, Rovny, Zaugg, Chris Anker, Nicki Sørensen, Michael Mørkøv and Matti Breschel. Of those I think the 2 remaining spots will be occupied by 2 of those 4: Mørkøv, Breschel (if he does well in Suisse), Paulinho and Nicki.
I could be very wrong, but there definetely IS a chance for 2 danes on Saxo, as well as 0.. |
