Good stage win. Is he a scouted rider? Haven`t heard about him before.
A pity that Duarte and Rujano lost contact to the first favourite group. |

@roturn: Thanks! Yes, Pajuelo is a rider we've scouted in first season (same for Schromm, Lander) and he's a good climber (75) and still has some stars left This three climbers are the best riders, I've scouted so far.. since then I've never found good guys like they are..
@ricotero_uy: Thank you very much! And I do hope for more wins (especially with Duarte), too

Nice win from Pajuelo... maybe the bright side of the day, after Duarte and Rujano lost contact... hopefuly they can come back. |

Great win with Pajuelo! The DS was probably so happy after Pujuelo's stage win that he forgot to give Duarte some orders

He was indeed
@Tombola: Thanks! And yes, I think it will give Pajuelo a boost!
@FreitasPCM: Thank you! Well, we lost some seconds again (Duarte, Rujano), but the stage-win was too great to complain about our captains But especially Duarte now has to start gaining seconds back from Valverde & co!
So.. the first week of Giro is over.. and the teams are looking forward to an even more exciting 2nd week! More mountains and a brutal stage to Monte Zoncolan as the last stage of 2nd week! Here's a short preview:

Btw: I decided to do not any reports for Tour of California, because I wanted to focus on Giro 100%.. but now.. I 100% regret it Already played the first 4 stages (without taking any pictures) and it's real fun so far and interesting, too. The startlist is much weaker than last season, and our riders Philip Deignan and Dabid Lander can compete Sorry for no screens, I will maybe take some shots of the queen-stage to Mt Baldy and then post the results. Just wanted to tell you, because I really regret it!
Next Giro-stage soon!

@Boet: First of all - thank you for reading and your comment! I really appreciate it.. I will try to get Jaco Venter into a break, yes But most probably in last week of Giro (if he stays within time-limit)! But I will do my best to make your day!
Here's next stage - Giro's 8th:

Not much to say about this flat stage more than it's nice to see Pajuelo in KoM jersey!
Looking forward to see next stage.

Thanks, laidbackmarc! Yes, we won't be that competitive in the few flat stages here But - fortunately - it's soon over with flat profiles..
..and here's already the next mountain-stage! Giro's 9th stage:

Great stage.
Actually I never have scouted riders, that are that competive in their first or second season. Mine do always need 2-3 seasons for CT races and 4 seasons to have some chances in GT`s.
Unfortuantely a big gap reached the finish, shame on PCM10 as Duarte looked good. |

@all: Thank you very much for the feedback, comments and bananas Schromm and Pajuelo did a great job so far.. one of them will go for KoM-jersey instead of Rujano, I think. But it's time for Duarte to perform like this His 5th in last stage makes me hope he can do it!
@roturn: Same for me with the scouted riders! I had real luck with all of this three climbing-talents, though all of them have huge problems in flat stages/sections (they have stats in FLAT from 52-61). So they still need some time, but in the mountains, they are all quite good (75-78).
Here's Giro's 10th stage:
(No big changes, no complete results this time)

Thanks, Alakagom! Your comments - as for all - are always appreciated Duarte's 7th was indeed great and it makes me hope for some better results soon!
Note: Sorry for not updating today, but I had no time to do any reports. But I will be back tomorrow for sure! Stay tuned for more exciting stages!
