Also, since the Olympics are done, Viviani is going to start focusing on the road

Some WorldTour teams struggled to win much at all this year, so I highly doubt Cannondale have any worries about not having enough points.
And they really do have some great young talents

Vacansoleil-DCM confirm their 2013 roster.
| IN | | | | | BOLE Grega | < | | Lampre - ISD | | | | | FLECHA GIANNONI Juan Antonio | < | | Sky Professional Cycling Team | | | | | VAN POPPEL Danny | < | | Rabobank Continental Team | | | | | WAUTERS Willem | < | | Vacansoleil - DCM (Trainee) |
OUT | | | | | CARRARA Matteo | > | | ??? | | | | | DENIFL Stefan | > | | IAM Cycling | | | | | DEVOLDER Stijn | > | | Radioshack - Nissan | | | | | LARSSON Gustav Erik | > | | IAM Cycling | | | | | MORAJKO Jacek | > | | CCC Polsat | | | | | MORTENSEN Martin | > | | Elite-2 | | | | | PAVARIN Marcello | > | | Elite-2 |
So, overall, they strenghten their classic squad with Flecha and Bole. 2 promising young riders also signed.
Looking at the outs, I don't think they will bother much, as none of them did much anyway.
Overall, nothing special really, but not bad. Team will stay very similar, Flecha will be a good addition obviously though.

Let's see what they can do. I hope some riders that are leaving get a team, especially Mortensen and Carrara. |

I can think of 1 that is arguably better (Argos, maybe Cofidis after their new signings). Can you care to tell me who else?
It is not the strongest team out there, but with the number of opportunists that they have, as well as a huge number of all rounders they will perform consistently and bring in results.

Maybe Europcar and IAM, at least if you compare the strongest riders. Vacansoleil's roster is deeper though, and that eventually pays off, if you look at the CQ Ranking. So yup, agree with you.

Man I hope Mortensen finds a team. I really like him, and I don't really know why.

Argos and Cofidis I will give you for the sake of argument.
Europcar lacks depth. Sure you have Voeckler and Rolland but if you look much deeper than that they haven't got a huge number of riders to bring in results all season. Vacansoleil have a team where almost everyone can get a win on their day.
Androni lacks... everything pretty much. Some decent enough climbers, but not much beyond that, and certainly no one with much consistency. Not to mention they are losing some of their top riders.
Colombia has maybe 3 2nd-tier leaders and that's about it.

He won the Paris-Nice prologue and two top 10 TT results at the Giro but that is it (not counting his TT national championship win):

Larsson's last two seasons have been quite poor. That P-N prologue has been his only non NC win.
