I think that's a great idea. There should be a secret sprint with bonifications in every stage, and it should be randomly located, with location decided after the stage.
Erm, well...
Still not as stupid as the Intergiro classification
Booo, the Intergiro was cool. Don't dare to criticize it.
It made the sun-powered flashlight seem like the wheel
Respect for Fuglsang. He did a great Vuelta so far. He lost time in the long steep climbs but he had a great first week and strong time-trial and now this monster leadout for Bennati ! And "bravo" to Bennati (wasn't really difficult to win today...)
13. sec..well it must be really annoying for Froome..after 3 week GT.
If someone has told..
well Cobo wins 2011 Vuelta..ok..maybe
Froome will challenge him..will beat Nibbles, Anton, Rodriquez, Menchov and Scarponi..fuck off.

What must be really annoying for Sky, is the team time trial. that was an awful ride from them, and probably were they "lost" the Vuelta.
In terms of racing, Cobo is no doubt a deserved winner. I don't want him to win, nor do I like him, but his/Geox' racing this Vuelta, deserves it. I don't like it at all, but it's still deserved.

about Geox..100%..this is superb team and superb riding. Top class
I just can't see how Geox was a superb team, tbh. The only moment where Cobo got a tactical help from his team was when De La Fuente stopped to help him up La Farrapona, and I doubt it was worth more than 5 secs for him (if anything at all).
Edit: I still hope Froome can pull a Vino in Madrid and win the Vuelta.

Sure, but look at who the competition is... You don't have to be a genious to outmanouver Sky
Let's have a look at this:
What if SKY had produced a good TTT, and their riders (including Froome) had to work hard for Wiggins even before the deciding stages (in the first week). How much strength would they potentially have left(again, including Froome) after the bonus work?
What if, what if, what if...
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?
If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord will delete my browser history.
Sky's real issue is that they took a slightly less talented team to La Vuelta.
This is partly because they are commited to The Tour of Britain (being a British team) with riders such as Thomas, Swift, Dowsett etc all wanting to ride here, and partly because they have a lot of young riders that might not be ready to ride 2 Grand Tours back to back - EBH and Uran for example are in Canada now.
It's also partly because they are a newish team and are still learning - they've made better decisions this year than they did last year, and next year should be better again!
Also, La Vuelta was never part of their 2011 plans - they only came here because Wiggo crashed out of TdF. In an interview Brad said his aim was top 5 as this is a comeback race for him to salvage something from the year.
Sky have done magnificently IMO and we should accentuate the positives here...

I don't see why people criticize Sky tactics so much. The only big mistake from them was screwing up the TTT.
It also took them some time to figure out that Froome would be stronger than Wiggins on these three weeks.
No one knew what Froome can do. Anyone would have chosen Wiggins. He was the winner of Dauphine and 4th in the 2009 Tour, while Froome was basically no one.

If it comes down to a sprint fo the finish, I've got my money on Rodriguez, I believe he has a minor edge on Mollema.
Mollema won points over Rodriguez in every single "sprint" so far.
In mass sprint finishes Mollema is better at placing himself than Rodriguez, which is not weird considering the size of Rodriguez, he is easily 'put away'. You saw it yesterday.
Rodriguez in the first 10 for 5 kilometers, but in the last km Rodriguez had to sprint 500m to be in the front again.
Mollema, nowhere to be seen, but in the final km he was within the first 15 when the sprint started.
Mollema is better at positioning... so Rodriguez might be faster, so far in pure mass sprints Mollema has had better placings due to superior positioning
