There are a lot of those summaries, but none of them are as good as CQRanking's

Zdenek Stybar (yes, the World Champion Cyclocross) is very close to a deal with... Quick-Step!
For a second, I thought I was dreaming..

If I were him, I wouldn't do it, because he's gonna ride himself into a breakdown...

Pain is a big fat creature riding on your back. The farther you pedal, the heavier he feels. The harder you push, the tighter he squeezes your chest. The steeper the climb, the deeper he digs his jagged, sharp claws into your muscles.- Scott Martin

Don't get your hopes up too high. He's been "very close to signing with QuickStep" a trillion times before and it never ended up happening
Not saying it won't. Just that it's a repeating story.

Yeah I know. I don't usually point out mistakes because I make so many myself. But that one made me chuckle for some reason.

Riis got some insider knowledge telling him that either Contador will be cleared or that Chris Anker Sørensen will be on a new kind of dope next year, because he have turned down The Chicken once and for all. For the 20th time this season.

Yes, it's exactly what I wrote here much times. Only change is - the deal is practically done. What I know - Stybar wants to ride only classics - Flanders, Roubaix, maybe LBL. His main objective will be cyclocross, plus he wants to aim for Olympics 2012 in MTB race.

Riis says they're done. No more signings.
Wow, what an amazing squad

It's most likely the pcm.daily 2011 DB |

@Stybar-story: A Czech multimillionaire has bought his way into QS, securing its future until at least 2013. So now it makes sense that they want Stybar, and likely that they will sign him imo. |

Yeah, that are the news! Today we will know more, Zdenek Bakala who is that person will make a PR.. All what I know right now - Quick Step will probably have a new co-sponsor, probably OKD (the biggest Bakala's company). Everything what I wish right now is that Lefevre will give some chances to other Czech cyclists than Stybar now.
EDIT: So no, the PR is out right now - no co-sponsor.

Jeroen Janssen -> Team Raleigh
btw, Stybar just tweeted:
Isn't it interesting that there is czech sponsor in Quick-Step team? I'm really happy with this news!!
But he don't respond at question "will you go to quickstep too?"
May we see this as a coded message?
