I agree Zimao, Pacheco and Nemeth are two big talents and LFC should give them a chance now.
If they are buying Keane and N'Gog, they must sell Voronin and after buying Keane, Rafa probably mean to play with Kuyt on the right. So now we have two great right wingers, Pennant and Kuyt.

If you are not joking, you need to watch them both play. Pennant is awful, and Kuyt isn't much better

Pennant really is bad isn't he? Well maybe that's not being fair, he occasionally puts in an OK cross but his work rate and number of bad games is alarming. At least Kuyt battles hard, every game. You could play him in goals and he'd still look like he's worked his socks off! |

How many second chances does one man deserve? |

If Ronaldo leaves to Madrid in this transfer window, Fergie has said he will quit Man Utd...
"If Ronaldo leaves, I'm going too," the Scot is quoted as saying by Spanish newspaper Marca.
This is after Madrid have said that they haven't given up hope of landing Ronaldo.

What a load of tosh. I bet he meant as a joke, as in there's as much chance in Ronaldo leaving as there is in me leaving.
Also it seems Barcelona will go to CAS about FIFA's ruling that they must release Messi to play in the Olympics. That's despite Messi repeatedly saying he wants to play
If they got the ruling, it could have wide implications for international football's future in general... |

Treating Messi in that way will, I guess, only result in him wanting to leave. |

You would think so. He's only going to be missing for a champions league qualifier as far as I can tell, it's obviously the fear of him getting injured. If he gets withdrawn from the Argentina squad I expect him to move at the end of the season because he really wants to play, the Olympics are very important for South American footballers. |

Barcelona is used to getting everything the way they want it.

A signing for Addy: Manchester City have completed the signing of centre-back Tal Ben Haim from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee.
And Gareth Barry's proposed switch to Liverpool is now off after Liverpool failed to negotiate a fee before the deadline.
Finally, Rangers proved how really woeful they are by drawing 0 - 0 with FBK Kaunas at Ibrox. Looks like the SPL title race won't be close this year |

The undisclosed fee was disclosed yesterday as being £5million
different sources different stories still it is official Man City have signed him and I'm not very happy, I don't like him at all...
Especially if it turns out he is a replacement for Richard Dunne...

Great news - Man City are playing some crappy team in the UEFA qualifiers tonight and it's live on ITV4, porbably on Sky as wellB)
New news which is actually getting very old now - "Everything is fine. Next week I will return to England and tell them [Manchester United] that my only desire is to play for Real Madrid and that I will not negotiate," Ronaldo told AS.

The Swedish team Djurgårdens IF just managed to go through the UEFA quals on away goals against FC Flora, 0-0 home and 2-2 away. This is getting emberrasing (spelling?). Everyone out here, don't judge Swedish club football after their performances, they haven't won a single game since april. |

It's Yssouf Kone
Indredible striker, on good days. Does have some primadonna-tendencys though. Missed a decicive penalty for us (Rosenborg) in the start of this years league. I can forgive that in itself, but the ridicoulus one step run-up and arrogant way he was taking the whole thing when he missed (soft shot, almost to the middle of the goal, keeper-height) is something few players in the world really can get away with.
But as I said, great player at his best
And as for Ronaldo. As far as I know he's still got 4 years left of his "slave-contract", so as far as I see it, he's not in any sort of position to negotiate anyways. He's not the sharpest knife in the water, to ruin his relationship with the fans of the club that has stated repeatedly in the media that it has intentions of keeping him there... |
