Apparently Petacchi didn't sprint because his DS told him not to take any risks at all since there it's likely there will be no points given for the stage.

yeaah..1km to go mark he was there..just waited behind Cavendish..but did not sprint in the end. |

He talked to 4 or 5 people= 4 or 5 teams. The rest could just keept racing if they wanted to. But they didnt so... So no point just blame him.

I think it's a mix of the two. Lance has a moan about that stage, coupled with yesterdays crash, then the big excuse of today's stage.

I missed this from 60km to the finish. I saw a replay of Di Luca talking though and I saw the peloton taking it easy but I didn't saw them on the finish line. From the previous page I know Cavendish won, does anyone have the Last Kms? |
