You happened to catch a day where the "other sports" forum is not so active.
One can easily speculate why that is
preparing for tomorrow of course. "biggest specatacle in racing: THE INDY 500" (nobody cares at F1 at Monaco )

What's F1?
iirc it displays or hides rider control panels.
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

He knows what F1 is, but is making a joke because the F1 key gets rid of rider control panels in PCM.

Watching someone turn left for 200 laps? Simple sport for simple folk...

Moving sucks. Really.
@F1 guys: Firstly, go Hamilton, but F1 is help, not rider panels. That's F2.

Hamilton lost today, Rosberg knows his city!! Would rather see Rosberg win the WC, than Hamilton.

I have no problem believing the majority of the fans are drunk... and quite possibly the drivers aswell.

Guys, what they say IS true. I shit you not, fireworks are going off outside, and I legitimately ran into my house to get a gun. Video games are realistic enough to take a toll on you. Be careful. Also, this is not a sarcastic post. It sounded like gunfire (we are 50 feet from the launch site) and I had a flashback of a sequence I was playing in the Oculus Rift. Most terrifying thing I've ever had to deal with.

ESRB, it exist. listen to it.
edit: is that Oculus rift thing a Virtual Boy ripoff? or is that Wikipedia thing misleading

The Virtual Boy was basically just a screen that was right in front of your eyes. The Oculus Rift is responsive to movements and leaning, a more comprehensive experience.
The ESRB exists to grade games based on content. I'm not sure what you mean by that comment. I was referring to having played BF4 with an Oculus Rift and Omni, giving me a small flash during an extremely loud fireworks ceremony.

Just made this for my phones home screen(s)
I think it turned out really well. Managed to fit all official Canucks logos into it, and the bottom half stays "plain" because I have my apps on the bottom 2 rows/grids so the background and apps dont clash.

'Murica!!! In no other country would this happen
Oculus Rift can go suck a big fat c*ck. VR and related headsets have been in existence for decades, the Oculus is just the latest iteration. The big difference being that now technology has reached a point where such a unit could be produced.
What pisses me off the most is that Oculus was brought for 2 billion and it isn't even a commercially available product! At best they are described as Dev Kits, and even then that is pushing it. Unless they hold some magic patent on the tracking software (highly unlikely) its a stupid amount of money.
VR could be really good. But it really needs to take a big leap and commercially available product to take off in the mainstream public. To me its another gimmick like motion controls were in the last generation of consoles, because of its isolated nature as an add-on to non specified software.
