Guys, what they say IS true. I shit you not, fireworks are going off outside, and I legitimately ran into my house to get a gun. Video games are realistic enough to take a toll on you. Be careful. Also, this is not a sarcastic post. It sounded like gunfire (we are 50 feet from the launch site) and I had a flashback of a sequence I was playing in the Oculus Rift. Most terrifying thing I've ever had to deal with.

ESRB, it exist. listen to it.
edit: is that Oculus rift thing a Virtual Boy ripoff? or is that Wikipedia thing misleading

The Virtual Boy was basically just a screen that was right in front of your eyes. The Oculus Rift is responsive to movements and leaning, a more comprehensive experience.
The ESRB exists to grade games based on content. I'm not sure what you mean by that comment. I was referring to having played BF4 with an Oculus Rift and Omni, giving me a small flash during an extremely loud fireworks ceremony.

Just made this for my phones home screen(s)

I think it turned out really well. Managed to fit all official Canucks logos into it, and the bottom half stays "plain" because I have my apps on the bottom 2 rows/grids so the background and apps dont clash.

'Murica!!! In no other country would this happen
Oculus Rift can go suck a big fat c*ck. VR and related headsets have been in existence for decades, the Oculus is just the latest iteration. The big difference being that now technology has reached a point where such a unit could be produced.
What pisses me off the most is that Oculus was brought for 2 billion and it isn't even a commercially available product! At best they are described as Dev Kits, and even then that is pushing it. Unless they hold some magic patent on the tracking software (highly unlikely) its a stupid amount of money.
VR could be really good. But it really needs to take a big leap and commercially available product to take off in the mainstream public. To me its another gimmick like motion controls were in the last generation of consoles, because of its isolated nature as an add-on to non specified software.

Yeah, I downloaded the flatro Icon theme for Android and they looked amazing with just a simple background so I wanted to keep it plain where the apps would be on my screen, but I needed to still have a Canucks background somehow too

The nursing homes are going to be a hoot when the youth of today ends up there. Everytime someone hears a bang, you get a bunch of guys yelling after Master Chief and Makarov.

When already on phone-wallpaper topic, that's one I use. Pretty simple, two black parts (the upper one for time/date widget and the one below for classic android bar (Call, Contacts, Internet, Messages, Apps).
It's there for more than 1,5 years now. Will decide to do something in PS connected to Barcelona or Mohoric in near future, just to refresh it a bit.

Is there anyway to customize the background for a Galaxy SIII?

Yeah, you press the left button, and then set wallpaper, home screen, then pic a photo.

Of course, basically everything can be customized on Android. Find the photo you want (either on phone and download it or on PC and transfer it with USB), then unlock phone, press right "button" on the lower part of phone(there's no actual button, but the thing that appears once you unlock phone, left to to main, center button), choose "Set background" (or whatever it's said in Norwegian), than selects one of 3 options (Start screen, Unlock screen or Both), then go to Gallery and find the photo you downloaded and set it then.
Zabel'd...

Ah, thanks. I haven't had it for so long so I'm new to, well... most things.
I've been trying to find one for my club in the Norwegian League.

Indeed, happy Memorial Day!
I have a problem with some ways "defending freedom" is used, but that is a conversation for difficult topics, not here.
Sadly, no holiday for us today as we had a make-up day due to earlier missed days.

Just found the message (from more than 3 years ago) where I asked somebody is Man-Game actually a man game and how playing with 1 rider is possible. I also somehow connected it to one-rider stories and kept asking abusive questions using so clear and understandable English.

Hooray, I've been waiting for this day since I became an admin.
Finally had my first spambot encounter. I deleted the sh*t out of his posts and banished him back to the wasteland! Muahahaha!
Oops, turns out it was admirschleck, not a spambot...
Nah, I'm kidding. It was a real spamBOT. there's a difference!
