It wasn't a dive. Just as the 1st half would have been a penalty and wasn't a dive.
Wether it was a foul, that's the question. It was a dumb move by the mexican defender anyway.
Anyway after the 1-0 Mexico stopped playing football and Holland finally started playing 4-3-3. That was the turnaround. After that we deserved to win.
And besides the penalty Robben was brilliant again. A consistent danger to the defense time and time again. |

It was a dumb move by the mexico defender, and while not necessarily a full dive, it sure as heck was a makeup for that non-call in the first 45. Mexico basically got stupid in the 2nd half, and it turned into a win for the Netherlands. The better team overall won.
Not too mention the fact that the mexico manager was out their pushing Van Persie after the game, and acting like a moron. Sure he is upset, but should not be pushing another team's player. I am glad they are out.

Undeserved? After the 1-0 Holland was much better. Finally started playing 4-3-3 and finally started creating good chances. Only Ochoa kept them alive. Deserved win, but hopefully Van Gaal stops his 5-3-2 now. It doesn't work against teams like Mexico, Australia, Greece, Costa Rica etc.. only against very big sides |

It looked like a dive to me, just look at the way he jumps in the air it's so unprovoked. However, in hindsight, Proença failed to spot the obvious one at the end of the 1st half. I'm quite glad I took a gamble on the dutch 
Now who should win: the surprising Costa-Rica or the the gritty Greece? This should be equally interesting.

I agree that it was a stupid move from Marquez (really surprised it came from a player with that experience) and that there was a contact, yes, but that contact wasn't a penalty one, in my opinion.
"Robben took advantage out of it" = jumped in the air like someone shoot him = dived

Yeah, they are underdogs of course they would play unattractive football in the second half. They had nice chemistry in the first half, I don't see much reason to hate that?
And yeah, fans are totally a reason to hate a team.

Why would I cry? I am not from Mexico and although I supported them in this match, it doesn't really hurt me that they're out of this WC. Therefore, your sentence (was it supposed to be argument or what?) is invalid.

I feel the netherlands deserved this because of their superior tactical understanding of the game (Van Gaal's decisions were superb and really changed the direction of the match) and because of their talented players who were able to cash in on the opportunities they had.
Unfortunate for Mexico though, they could have passed as well (they looked more dangerous for most of the match) but Ochoa's sorcery wasn't enough in the end. The Netherlands are a good bet for the final now imo.
