Hi,
somebody know what the value_i_proposition in dyn_sponsor_research is all about?
The range of the value is from 1 to 4.
Is this the amount of money of this sponsors offer?

Just finished the first season (2014) of my carreer! First, here are the results of some big races:
Race | Winner | | Tour down Under | Stephen Cummings | | Tour of Qatar | Marcel Kittel | | Tour of Oman | Robert Gesink | | Omloop het Nieuwsblad | Fabian Cancellara | | Kuurne-Bruxells-Kuurne | Tom Boonen | | Strade Bianchi | Johnny Hoogerland | | Paris-Nice | Vincenzo Nibali | | Tirreno-Andriantico | Peter Velits | | Dwars door Vlaanderen | Jürgen Roelandts | | Milano-San Remo | Janez Brajkovic | | Volta a Catalunya | Robert Gesink | | Criterium International | Nairo Quintana | | E3 Harelbeke | Peter Sagan | | Gent-Wevegelm | Fabian Cancellara | | Ronde van Vlaanderen | Fabian Cancellara | | Vuelta al Pais Vasco | Robert Gesink | | Scheldeprijs | Marcel Kittel | | Paris-Roubaix | Fabian Cancellara | | Brabantse Pijl | Phillipe Gilbert | | Amstel Gold Race | Peter Sagan | | Giro del Trentino | Cadel Evans | | La Fleche Wallonne | Fränk Schleck | | Liege-Bastogne-Liege | Wout Poels | | Tour de Romandie | Chris Froome | | 4 Jours de Dunqerke | Michal Kwiatkowski | | Giro di Italia | Robert Gesink | | Tour of Californian | Peter Velits | | Criterium du Dauphine | Chris Froome | | Tour de Suisse | Joaquim Rodriguez | | Tour de France | Andy Schleck | | Tour de Polonge | Peter Sagan | | Classica la Sebastian | Jeremy Roy | | Vuelta a Burgos | Peter Vakoc | | Eneco Tour | Peter Sagan | | Vuelta a Espana | Chris Froome | | Vattenfall Cyclassics | Rohan Dennis | | GP Ouest France - Plouay | Caleb Ewan | | Brussels Cycling Classic | Michal Golas | | GP de Quebec | Edvald Boasson Hagen | | GP de Montreal | Phillipe Gilbert | | Tour of Brittain | Michael Morkov | | Word Championships ITT | Lars Boom | | Word Championships RR | Thomas Voeckler | | Milano-Torino | Joaquim Rodriguez | | Il Lombardia | Rui Costa | | Giro Dell'Emilia | Dario Cataldo | | Tour of Beijing | Daniel Martin | | Paris-Tours | Marcel Kittel | | Chrono des Nations | Taylor Phinney | |
I call this: The year of the suprises! It begin in T-A were Peter Velits is very good and wins the round. Then in Milano-San Remo at the hilly parcours, Janez Brajkovic wins a sprint of Christophe Riblon. The real toppers, came to late: Peter Sagan finished thirth before Cancellara and Stybar. In Liege-Bastonge-Liege was the weirdest result I have saw this season. Wout Poels won the race! Because as CT-team I haven't raced the race, so I think he was part of a breakaway. In the Vattenfall Cyclassics, came the sprinters to late. Dennis wins from Voigt in the breakaway. Viviani finshed thirth.
GT's:
Giro Di Italia:
1. Robert Gesink
2. Bauke Mollema
3. Jurgen van den Broeck
Sprint: Nacer Bouhanni
KoM: Enrico Battagalin
-25: Rafal Majka
This was the weakest peloton I have ever saw of the giro! For the GC, there were only Gesink, Mollema, Van den Broeck, Moreno, and Majka. And for the sprint were only Bouhanni, and Van Hummel the riders with a sprint stat above the 77. Moreno was leading the GC, but he has given up in stage 14. Then Mollema came in the lead. At number 2 was Majka, 3 Van den Broeck and 4 Gesink. But Gesink came back fast! At stage 19 was it. 1. Mollema, 2. Gesink, 3. Van den Broeck and 4. Majka. In the last mountain stage, Gesink and Mollema finished at the same time. But Gesink gets 10 boni seconds and comes in the lead! And so he won the Giro, with 7 seconds at Mollema!
Tour de France:
1. Andy Schleck
2. Rui Costa
3. Andrew Talansky
Sprint: Marcel Kittel
KoM: Sylvain Chavanel
-25: Thibaut Pinot
This Tour has a strong peloton. Nibali, Froome, and Contador were the favorites. But in stage 5, there came cobbles... A lot happend. Cancellara won the stage before Vanmarcke and Cancellara get the leaderyersey. Schleck, Costa, Talansky, and Rodriguez finished at 4min. A groop with Pinot, Evans and Van Garderen at 7min. But a group with Nibali, Froome and Contador finished at 13min.!!! Cancellara hold the leader yersey until stage 18. Then Costa taked the yersey. But in the next day he loses a minute at Schleck. And the next day again a minute. So won Schleck Le Tour with 1'30".
Vuelta a Espana
1. Chris Froome
2. Joaquim Rodriguez
3. Janez Brajkovic
Sprint: Chris Froome
KoM: Ignatas Konovalovas
-25: Peter Sagan
The vuelta was very excited! Three riders dominated the mountain stages. But because Froome has a ride a better TT, and Brajkovic lost some time in the last stages, has Chris Froome wun his second GT!
WC's:
RR:
1. Thomas Voeckler
2. Joaquim Rodriguez
3. Peter Velits
This was a very excited race! I played for Canada with Hesjedal, Veilleux, and Roth in my team. At 30km before the finish Voeckler atackted and get a 1min. gap at the peloton. Rodriguez atacked at 10km before the finish line and ride fast to the finish line. But he came not by Voeckler. Voeckler wun with 15" before Rodriguez. Peter Velits, who joined the atack of Voeckler but was dropped finished 3th 20" before Hesjedal. Sagan finsihed 5th and won the bunch sprint, at 1'30" of Voeckler.
ITT:
1. Lars Boom
2. Bradley Wiggins
3. Lieuwe Westra
I started the TT with Tuft and Veilleux. My goal was a top ten place. I succeed. Tuft finished 6th and Veilleux 9th. But when the big riders came it was a suprisely result. Tony Martin and Cancellara weren't in forme and finshed 21th and 30th. Westra has a really good day, and set the best time. Then some riders later Wiggins was with 10" faster. But Boom won with 30" before Wiggins.
My team was a canadian based team at the CT level. Veilleux, Tuft, Fenn, Haga and Parisien are the strongest riders. I has won 15 races (lvl: Extreme) and I have reached promotion to the PCT. My importanst new riders were: Lieuwe Westra as teamleader, the Albanian rider Zhupa for the NC-shirt and he is a nice TT'er (76 in TT), Jos van Emden also for TT's. And a Australian, Canadian, German, Polish and Luxemburgian talent. The australian talent is the most talented! He has 75 in sprint! And has a potetion to reach 83! The Polish rider has 67 in MO but can reach the 80 in MO. Now, it's time to race at PCT level
Always see the bright Side of life!

You won 15 races? Good season then, especially on extreme.
Though I still don't understand why you gave Gesink, Schleck, probably Boom(?), and a few others, such undeserved high stats.

The most wins are from breakaway's (7, I thought) Fenn has won 3 real sprints, and I has won the Valley of the Sun Stage Racie because Veilleux has won the ITT . And the other 3 wins: A mountain stage with Haga whoe has a very good day. And the national championship of Candaian RR and TT
Gesink and Schleck were at the start of the season 80 in MO (Froome, Rodriguez, Nibali are 83). And Boom was at the start 80 in TT (Martin and Wiggins 83) and has growed to 82 . But some riders, I gave them those stats because I like them

Boonen winning the really hard Danish cobble stage, ahead of Voeckler.
That pan flat Danish cobble stage was the real killer. Of the GC names only Voeckler (Cob73), Wiggins/ Schleck (Cob70) are in a position to challenge for the GC.
In the last 20 KM there was the most powerful block headwind in PCM I have ever seen. Chavenel, working for Voeckler, was giving it 100% on the front of the lead group but could not get the speed over 30 km/h, such was the wind! Voeckler is looking good, he even put in a late attack on the flat cobble stage, but couldn't hold off Boonen. |

@ The Rider: That was my first reaction to . Maybe in 2016, because I only have send a request for the Tour de Polonge, and the Canadian Classics, as PCT team.
I'm now in the Tour of Qatar with my team. I have reached a 9th place with Roth in Marseille, and Martin Gilbert (A sprinter with a good hill stat) has won a stage at mallorca . Fenn is my teamleader in Qatar. He has so far 2 top 10 places, and in the TTT I finished 8h (I have simulated the TTT).

To reach the PCT you have to be in the top 35 of the CQ-ranking. And to reach WT you must to be one of the two best pct/ct teams in the cq-ranking.

With 18 WT and 17 PCT teams in the 2014 DB, 35 is correct
€: Unless the game changes the number of PCT teams to 22 after the first season, I haven't been there yet.

I use the PCMDaily's 2014 version, and there I was place 35 and went to PCT. But the places 36-40 not.

Cyclevox Development Team
So, there are new XMLs out -> New Career.
A development team, build up entirely out of regens, that is.
Went GBR + Ireland at first, but there weren't enough talents to build up a decent team, so I added a few Frenchies.
Lerat will be amazing in the English calendar. But the guy that I'm the most happy with is Ramsay. Just 68SP atm, but amazing potential(potential 8 ).
Will end up higher than 80 SP(not 85, but 81/82). Will end up higher than 70HI.
Cyclevox is a regional sponsor, and I'll be looking for a new sponsor next season.

A break with Gilbert, Degenkolb and EBH half way through helped by Stannard and Cav.

Finally got the game. Can't wait to start a career. Just waiting for Steam to complete.
Before I do, what should I download to make it a good one?
Just downloaded PCMDaily2014DBV1. Any other recommendations? |

I'd check if it's all in one or if you need the other expansions, then possibly get Kent's new xml's as the ones with the 2014db were creating OP regens.

I like it when regens turn out great and take over from the real ones. Developing talents is my main joy in management games. Just as long as it doesn't get silly ofc! I was playing PCM12 with the PCM13 files, so should be as expected.
I'm still at the first day, trying to get my head around all the changes with the scheduling. Is it safe to just trust the default set up and go for it? I have looked over my leaders and it seem pretty well set up for the sponsor goals, but I haven't made sure all domestiques will be fit when it matters.
Oh, and I assume it is still 60 race days when fitness starts dropping?

Default settings are meh, IMO.
And the 60 races thingy is gone in PCM 13

Is is just me or did they make season planning even more difficult?
After tearing it all down and trying to build it up again, I gave up, restarted and decided I was just gonna use the default set up with some very minor changes to the leaders. So far it's worked out pretty good, but I think I have a fitness edge on the AI early on, so not sure how the big tours will go. Won TDU with Anton, Paris-Nice with Quintana, finished 5th and got two stage wins in Tirreno-Adriatico with Visconti and got top 5 in Milan-Sanremo.
The game seem easier then PCM12 so I will probably chance to hard difficulty. Just want to see how the first season goes and then I'll start a new career with a custom team. |
