I like how people are breaking the rules @TheHobbit, @etc
Redemption Island -
Three voted out members duel it out each episode to stay in the game. The Winner gets to choose somebody not at Redemption Island to get a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol. Who ever finishes 2nd is also safe. The member that finishes 3rd is out of the game and is given the option to post one final post with their parting words for the remaining members on this thread. But once we start the next challenge the member is no longer allowed to comment/PM any of the remaining members. And the remaining members are no longer allowed to PM you about the game. |

I feel as if that rule was broken awhile ago... kind of ashame but oh well now.

Yeah I let that rule slide. It worked well in Season 1 but I didn't see massive harm being done when it kept happening here in Season 2 so I just let it be. Plus, it keeps the thread on the front page longer so more people see it.

Hmm, i won't be able to answer before tomorrow around two or so CET. I'm only on my phone, so can'tright the answers properly. 
Are you sure we should wait till then?

I'm not sure if I agree with this question, since I don't really think it'll lead anywhere, but here's my view on things anyway:
First of all, I think I may have put it wrongly in my opening speech; my plan was to not be more active in the thread than necessary, so that people don't make me a vote-out target. This doesn't mean I wasn't around or doing challenges.
Now to the actual question: I think a lot of posts here have had a "Oh wow, Jesleyh is so good, he made it to the final eventhough he won it last year" kind of mentality, which i think is, to put it short, bullshit. What difference does it make? He doesn't deserve to win it more or less than me or knockout, just because he won it last year.
As for knockout, i think he just didn't do better than average at any of the challenges. He never won one, only got a few second places. As for the tribal ones, he didn't do less than anybody else, but equally he didn't do more than anybody else. So i think he just never showed any real reason why he should be the sole survivor.
2: What do you see as your best act during this entire game? What was your most important contribution in either team or individual challenges?
My best part has to be the last challenge, easily. The way i did it was trying to not show anything special in the earlier IC's, but then give it my best on the last two to three ones. I couldn't do much in the third last for various reasons, made the one mistake in the penultimate one, but when it really counted, in the last one, i excelled. I just gave everything i could, never mind what the others were doing, and took it easy-ish. In the tribal ones i tried to help as much as possible, but sometimes it just wasn't possible, sometimes because i was still in school, sometimes because i was out with friends, sometimes for completely other reasons. But still i can look back at the whole competition and say that i nailed it when it counted most.

Honestly, No.
Because of the fact that I would be considered a dangerous threat, I did not think I'd reach the final. What Dippo says isn't true of course, it surely matters. If people were allowed to choose between me & a random other person if you look at voting, they'd for sure vote for me. I mean, the other alliances have tried to vote me out multiple times. If I was a newbie in Survivor, I think they would not have tried that often.
Anyway, the answer was no, but I tried to give it my best, and here I am in the end.

Hmm...
For a short period, after Froome was gone. There's a slim chance that I would have been voted out in his place if I didn't have immunity, but allright, I think some others, Knockout being the first coming up in my head, wouldn't have voted me out by then, so I might have been safe anyway.
So I was a bit afraid for the next council yeah. So I really sent tons of PMs to Dippo & Knockout there to make our alliances a bit stronger there, because I knew that Jseadog & Jakstar wanted me out at some point, and I didn't want to get in the final with Jseadog & Jakstar anyway, I wanted in the final with Knockout & Dippo. (Originally with Froome, but allright, I didn't see that coming).

I thought I would have a very good possibilty to reach it if i could survive the first one/two team challenges and if Tinkov could get the majority of members into the post merge time.
Otherwise I gave me a slightly better chance than most others as I wasn't on the radar of the other team then. One reason for that was that i never highlighted my work in the challenges at this thread and i told the others to not post how much everyone/I did in the team challenges.
2. Did you fear that you would get eliminated at one stage in the game?
There were two situations i was not sure if i could receive the votes:
First, the very first tribal council where we had to vote out one member of our tribe. I knew I wasn't the most known member there and i thought it could have been me but luckily i only received two votes while dinger got more votes.
The second situation was the last tribal council before the merge. I planned to give one of my immunity idol to jseadog and talk him into voting for tmm but then he told me suddenly that we have an alliance with TMM and Jesleyh and that we have to vote for Selwink ( I hope that someone tells me at the reunion show what really happened there. I suppose that TMM asked Jseadog / agreed to an offer of Jseadog to make an alliance so that he would not use an idol which he could have had. )But I am not sure about it). I got very suspicious because I could not see TMM vote for Selwink at that point so I decided to play the safe way and use an idol myself.
( to understand my decision you should know that Jseadog knew of at least one of my idols at that point )
Sorry Jseadog I should have trusted you more at that point...
