I think it's fair to say that it's just a minor blot in his copybook. |

We need a fantasy bet if Blot will break into the Top 100 or not.
I'l dare to say he might even threaten the top 90 GC guys.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. He's still young and developing. Top 100 GC is great progress for a future Tour winner Well, he's a sprinter, so you can't really expect him to win the Tour one day... A Tour flat stage at best (unless he wins in a breakaway).
As for those who'd like to know how to pronounce his name : it's "Blo", the final T is a mute one. So all your puns shouldn't work. |

Does that mean it's pronounced blow? because then we have opened up a whole new area of punning

Even more interestingly, if you translate Guillaume Blot into English it comes up with :
Spoiler William Blot

Did you not know that Guillaume is the french word for William?
William the conqueror was actually called Guillaume.

I do, it's my favorite race of the US domestic calendar and I plan on racing it at the amateur level (well pro, but that is never going to happen) someday. He won the TT into a stiff headwind, and beat Paul Mach, who is just destroying all comers in Stage Races in the US (and who I wouldn't be surprised to see jump to a PT or ProCont team next year).

Meanwhile in Luxembourg..
Gorka Izaguirre wins the final stage
Carrara takes GC.
GC was taken with 1 lap to go because of a large crash earlier in the stage.
