what announcement? suspicion on bennati? I won't say that. I'm thinking that but I won't say it. |

yes, that was my point, that because it's flat, he might have a chance.
but it's very unpredictable. if you do the TT and then the next day do it again in the exact same conditions, some riders will do much better, some much worse.
"form of the day" is a reality. and in a TT, the difference between a slightly good day and a slightly bad day is huge
Cadel Evans does still believe in it he says. he wants to ride his best TT ever. |

I hope he can. but there's still another sprint stage before that. plenty of time to get nervous about the TT |

the safe prediction (not mine) is: Boogerd in second
EDIT: the break will make it, 98% chance. why? because it's the stage before the final ITT. that stage is NEVER a bunch sprint
I'd like to see Boogerd get a win
Casar crashed and just looks UGLY (the injury, not his face ). more chance that the teeth monster will win!

Boogie never wins so it would be great to see him win, especially after him being so emotional after the whole Rasmussen affair
you forgot to mention the break has a 98% chance of staying away also as there are only 3/4 real sprinters left who will probably be waiting for the Champs Elysees.
and i quick prediction for the Champs, i will make it on the day as well, but seen as i'm talking about it.
David Millar will definatley attack, Geraint may try and fail, but Cancellara will win

if the peloton doesn't wake up soon, we'll have Boogerd in the final top10
EDIT: I just remembered Merckx promised his father quite a few years ago that one day he would win a Tour stage and would never retire before doing so.
he'll retire this year. can he do it today?

maybe they'll make a decision between them to let Merckxx have the win, probably not but it would be nice

It would be so nice - after all the doping, we can see there is still some good in cycling

that won't happen. and actually, I doubt he'll win. Casar is also injured. might be a win for Bouyges, given that Boogerd is sluggish in a sprint
then again...Lefevre...is Lefevre.
I guess it's more a case of "who's the least bad in a finish?"

and i think Merckxx is least bad, he isn't that bad in the sprint, so he could take it

in a sprint, Casar wins most likely.
but more attacks are surely about to come |
