Lefevre says that they are still negotiating with Contador to join after the 2010 season.
The four free spots on QuickStep are also for Contador and his three main team mates, should there come a chance to leave Astana during the 2010 season.

Hope Contador go to Caisse d' Epargne instead! Quick Step dosen't have any good teammates for Contador in the mointain... Seeldrayers and Barredo maybe... |

Contador came out and said last month, if he was to leave Astana he would prefer to go to a Spanish team, so I think he will go to either Euskatel or Caisse. |

Yeah, since Contador is "Basque", he will probably end up in Euskaltel.......... |

Euskaltel only signs riders whose "cycling education" was in the basque country. Contador is one of those riders, so Euskaltel would be interested.....
....if it weren't for the fact that Euskaltel's budget is around 5 million per season and Contador would demand 4 million, bare minimum.
Very few teams can afford him. The fight is between Caisse, Quickstep and Garmin.
And he'll go to Caisse, no doubt about it whatsoever.

Allan Davis' contract has not been renewed. He is having trouble finding a team.
This is not a repeat of the last four years
Lefévère is saving the money in case Contador and his helpers become unattached.
I guess Davis could say "DEY TOOK AR JERBS!"

If there would meet 2 Kazakhians(? - simply people from Kazakhstan), it doesn't mean you have to be off-topic |

You have to realize that the "Europeans hate kazakhstanis and want Astana to die because it's a kazakhstani team" crap is just bullshit that your media keeps feeding you.
We really don't give a toss where the team comes from. If it was swedish we'd treat it exactly the same way (except for the swedish people here. They'd love the team a lot more)
So relax
