Rowe even crashed in the sprint finish on the wet roads. Behind him another rider also hit the ground while passing the line.
Todays stage though is for the punchuers with a small MTF. I guess Cancellara and Thomas could do well here hoping for the GC win. Also interested how Herklotz will do. |

The Bayern-Rundfahrt passes less than 10km from my front door tomorrow. My first reaction was but then i checked my schedule to see that i have classes i can't miss. Great timing...
Anyways, today's MTF will be fun, i think it's too hard for Cancellara. The first km averages 15%.
Also, there'll be 30 minutes of higlights here which will probably on Cyclingcloud's youtube channel for non-Germans. |

Me too!
School finishes 45 minutes before it's scheduled to pass through, so I have just enough time to go home, get my Irish flag, and cycle down.

Does anybody have a stream for the Bayern Rundfahrt? I believe the finishing climb just started.

There is no live coverage except for an audio stream from Enrico Muax here.
And the ticker, but I guess you already know that considering where you expect them to be now.
Tune in to BR at 17:00 to get extensive (30 mins) coverage of today's stage though.

Yeah, I saw the live ticker. The commentary quality is pretty shitty, but it's okay. Looks like Frank has a fair gap, but Pinot just attacked. About 800 metres or so to go.

Impressive ride by Thomas, he has the GC now, methinks.
EDIT: As in, he's in pole position for winning.

What a strange sprint in Belgium. It looked like there was still one lap to go until 100 metres out when Boonen had to prevent Steegmans taking another stage from him Tour-style. Maybe 3 guys max went out of the saddle.
Herklotz apparently 14th in Bayern, dunno about the time gaps so I can't say whether that's satisfying or not. Everything below Thomas seems possible for a really good CT rider, so if that's more or less s.t., it sounds good.
The TT is another very interesting thing to follow from his perspective as well with much of his off-season focus on that discipline.

Just rearranged my schedule so that I'll be able to watch the last stage of the Arctic Race of Norway. It ends with a few laps around a circuit on the island where I live, so I can watch it at more or less any place I want to.
I haven't seen which city streets they'll be going through, but the finish will be downtown. Perhaps I'll watch the first laps on a secluded place before elbowing my way downtown.
Edit 1: It's been a while since it was shown, but I don't remember seeing the route here.
Edit 2: On closer inspection, they'll be doing 5 laps 200 metres from my home. There's a small patch of agricultural land between me and the road and since I live on a small hill, I can even sit at home watching it! Or just take the 200 metre walk. Sweet!
