That was so incredibly obviously over the line. Everybody knew it. Everybody. Except the referee. The fact that there is no goal-line technology is an absolute farce. Absurd.
Anyway, it's a great game at least. Defensively England have been appalling. I have no idea at all what the England defenders were playing at; they've never played that badly before. The 2 goals were stupid goals to concede, even if the 1st Germany goal was clearly offside. Still, I never expected England to have much a chance here. |

Afwul performance from England. Absolutely pathetic. The defending was abysmal and every single goal Germany scored was a complete gift. I wouldn't have minded that much if Germany had actually played well, but while they took their chances well, they simply weren't very good. Well done to Germany, but any team could have waltzed right down the middle of our defence. I have never seen anything like it. Shocking, even for England's standards. |
