That lack of doughnuts story is a serious reason to switch teams.

When it said about , 'his disagreement with the team's dietary recommendations and restrictions' I thought that they had banned him from eating steak. |

I hope Contador doesnt go to Movistar, Valverde won't be the super star rider of the team then
I'm against it for another reason.
If Conta went to Moviestar then Valverde would have to drop Tour ambitions (luckily he won't do it on his own, he's too dumb) and concentrate on races he might actually win. I can handle him winning Vuelta but if he ever won several Ardenne classics or Giro I'll go crazy.
Obviously he'd be a longshot to win the tour, but how is he dumb for having Tour ambitions?
I mean its not like he doesn't try at other races like Andy, so if his dream is to win the Tour and he's still getting good results elsewhere, whats wrong with that?
I mean that he's like Cunego. Think how many classic and Giro podiums Cunego might have got if he dropped Tour ambitions sooner.

Ulle has almost always struggled with he's weight. Now we see it was serious and thrue. Still one of the greates cycling talents ever. |

I used to think 10 kg in the winter was a lot, now I'm in the ages he was during his career, and I know what it means. Managing to not gain more than 2 or 3 kg like most pros do is absolutely crazy.
Still, I already thought it 10 years ago : Ulle's bones look like his "normal" weight should rather be around 95 or 100 kg, not 72 or something. He looks like a bit of a cliché of a big boned German person.
On the other hand, he was that powerful that he certainly used stuff like steroids, etc. during his career, various corticoids and stuff like that as well. Long term side effect is that it makes you fat.
I also thought he was one of the greatest cycling talent of the last decades, but the more I've been thinking about it, the less I know what it means. |

Don't know if it has been mentioned but according to CQRanking Andreas Stauff has a contract from tomorrow with the Eddy Merckx Indeland team. It is also on the teams frontpage:https://www.eddymerckx-indeland.de/ind...index2.php

Might be a good signing if he's the brother of last year's unbeatable man, but he's a very random one if he's this year Gilbert's brother. |
